I was early to a music lesson on Friday afternoon, and it was the last lesson of the day. When our teacher came in, I played this on the keyboard with an organ setting.

He was pleased with my playing.

I don't think he was too pleased with the timing though :)

@aNimE732: They are not really very big. In my mind 16'. In Weingarten in Germany the Organ of the Great Basilica has 32' Prospectpipes, upgraded with 16' Pipes for a 64' sound!

it was okay at some parts........ but NOT the desired tempo for the whole thing and the thing was hard to really hard to recognize because of all the rush, clashing, and swiftness.

Andrew Loyd Webbers masterpiece is a masterpiece alone on it's own. Not saying that flaunting it A LITTLE is a bad bad; because then it's your personality and feeling at work, BUT if you flaunt it way to much it looses its passionate touch that the composer has made for it.

Considering I'm not an organist, of course not. I didn't say I could do better, just that I have a good enough ear to tell that it's not right. Seriously, listen to this video side by side with the original performance from the CD and you'll see how far off it is.

I'm sure the organist in the video is very capable of playing it correctly, but simply chose to "re-interpret" the composition. I, in turn, interpreted their interpretation as "not as good".

Just an opinion, that's all.
