In my opinion, RIM needs to do more marketing. Perhaps the current Vice President (Marketing) needs to be replaced. I mean, other than in the amount of downloadable apps, PlayBook betters the iPad in all departments. iPad is overrated! It's amazing how RIM found itself in this position despite having a pretty extraordinary product.
Yes, adjustments have to be made but marketing is also very necessary. Otherwise, people wouldn't know the choices that are available to them.

I hate how all other tablets compare themselves to the iPad, in my opinion there is no such thing as a 'BAD' tablet. Whether that be an iPad, a Playbook or an Android tablet, they all do different things well, the Playbook has great multitasking and is great for browsing and business, the iPad is good for gaming and multimedia, and Android is good for it's powerful hardware and great app and browser support, just cause you chose to buy one over the other doesn't make it better.

@ClauBeatable no its more like an ipad, so no calls, text, etc. If you have a blackberry device you can bridge them so you can use bbm and such, and if you dont have a blackberry phone you can still use the tablet fine without one, I am an android phone user personally and love this thing, I am very satisfied with it.

I'm going to buy this Blackberry soon from a friend of mine for 200 brand new. The Ipad 2 cost more than twice as much, so I will go with BB for now until the Ipad 3 comes out. This Blackberry responds just as smooth as the Ipad 2 and the interface is just as easy to use without the Android bugs. Though I prefer the Ipad's bigger screen, it will be easier to carry and hold while using.

we went to bestbuy looking for an xbox 360 and they just got a fresh shipment of bb playbooks- so funny we just happen in looking for something totally different and walk out the store with 2 16gb playbooks. the store was dead there were couple other customers all for there for something else and they ended up buying playbooks too- one guy bought 5 and another dude bought 3! for $199.99 pretty fair deal,no one knew that location had any and they sold out in literally minutes!LOL@our timing

@777jonah888 . thousands of apps :) way way way more than the playbook . it's good the way u can download all the songs that u have on ur itunes account from ipod etc. on to it . It has a way bigger screen, and the playbook is heavy for it's size :D

I'm going to buy this Blackberry soon from a friend of mine for 200 brand new. The Ipad 2 cost more than twice as much, so I will go with BB for now until the Ipad 3 comes out. This Blackberry responds just as smooth as the Ipad 2 and the interface is just as easy to use without the Android bugs. Though I prefer the Ipad's bigger screen, it will be easier to carry and hold while using.

great deal totally worth it for this price, now most stores here are back at the normal $499 price except futureshop still is selling for $199.99

we went to bestbuy looking for an xbox 360 and they just got a fresh shipment of bb playbooks- so funny we just happen in looking for something totally different and walk out the store with 2 16gb playbooks. the store was dead there were couple other customers all for there for something else and they ended up buying playbooks too- one guy bought 5 and another dude bought 3! for $199.99 pretty fair deal,no one knew that location had any and they sold out in literally minutes!LOL@our timing
