  • still today I'm using the same card sad that is not Direct X 11 compatible only 10.1

  • Из твоей видеокарты вылетело достаточно много войлока

  • This is why I got and Acer Laptop top of the line no dust man reserculating around my room and breathing that dust in.I take the back of my laptop off and use my litle shark vacume to take out the small amount of dust on my fan which is almost nothng anyway. This is clean and healthy and uses far less power.

  • @Dorisequador - If you don't need big amounts of graphics processing power, decent laptop is definately the way to go.

  • @arvutihull You have not obviously looked at the new Laptops out there that rape and kill muhahaha Top of the line SSD's in them and 6990 graphic cards.

    Beats any tower amigo.

  • @Dorisequador - High end laptop can never beat a high end tower, it's a law of physics - the more powerful stuff made with the same technology gets, the bigger and more power hungry it gets. Additionally to explain the AMD's naming system, if a laptop has a 6990 usually it is around 2 times slower than a 6990 that you put into a PC.

  • @arvutihull Absolutely right but what needs all that power today ?? Only editing and high end graphic makers.. which are about 10% of the market.. rest are gamers and office people who game.

I find my Laptop far better than my older tower.. No dust to..

Dust is a big health problem !

I think Laptops can meet the same performance as a tower soon or if not nowaday's already.

Asus gots some serious killer powerful Laptops..

Acer are the most stable and best bang for buck.

  • @arvutihull Well, that and I would never call Acer a high end anything. They aren't a particularly reliable company when it comes to ......well....just about anything they sell.

  • @Dorisequador You're a dumb ass. You can put even topper of the line components in a desktop. Stupid noob ass.

  • @mugen1237 Tell your whore mother she should have finished the blow job she started on dad or what ever guy she fucked at the time 9 months before you were born.

  • Comment removed

  • @Dorisequador Are you mad, noob ass?

  • @mugen1237 You mama was a Ho

  • Comment removed

  • @Dorisequador I respect you.

  • @Dorisequador hahahahhahaah obviously new to the scene

  • @harley7777777 No I have bought almost everything ever sold for a PC and I am very Impressed with the New and latest Laptops today I call them the Walk away towers.

    Or Portable towers.

  • and this is how they created de_dust

  • Thanks, I'll have a 4870 x2 next week and now I now that I must clean it every 1 or 2 months : )

  • Air compressors contain water. And some could blow out. That's why they make dustoff.

  • @AsianPerson3 It's just compressed air. Mine never has water come out of it and I use it all the time.

  • it's the best method ever! thanks for video ! :) i didn t think about the compressor! great idea! pitu u have dasted the beautiful garden around the card :P

  • ummm next ime you do this after you compressor filles up spary the gun away from the card 2 time because water can build up in the line and gun and ruin your pc parts its happend before with a waterfiltered compressor btw this is the safest way to clean a pc XD

  • I got a single hd 4870 512mb i dont have to open it do remove dust? its like on 70-80c on idle fan 30%

  • @TheSTRELOK1911 - Yes that's fine with 30% fan speed. At load you just turn the fan speed up a bit and it should stay cool.

  • o_O

  • WOW dirty!

  • i just sow dead guy comming out of your fan :)

  • beautiful card gratz

  • i need to do that to my gtx 260

  • Thank fkin god I have dust prove Silverstone Raven 2 with 3 180mm Air Penetrator Fans. And even the PSU air intake on the back has adust filter. Lucky me.

+ Since when do HIll Billies own a computer that can handle a X2 card? Don't u need way too much rats to run inside a wheel thats hooked up to a generator? All that power consumption just increases the global warming xD

    JK!

  • ive had mine since 2008 havent even cleaned it, temps are at 70 degrees celsius idle with 100% fans!!!!

  • @AznBoiPro72 clean it

  • @AznBoiPro72 the fans sound like a fighter jet breaking the sound barrier tho, especially two of them, in crossfire

  • I use a garden hose

  • i always clean my computer and video card out with my air compressor

  • ok i see what ur saying that possible..if u turn the can side ways or if u shake the can. u have a point . that could happen.. some people just dont follow instruction.. (RTFM)..

  • @bodaciuos357 - Maybe... I was just trying to defend air compressors because too many people think that they are dangerous, but they aren't... =)

  • Just get a case like the Fractal Design Define XL ATX Full Tower Silent PC Case. it have dust covers on all intake fan. PS it really works no dust get in my case!!!!

  • @gregmck28 - Something has to get into the case also... how often do you clean the filters?

  • it wasnt the can that killed there card.. i can gantantee that.. u think what u want.. u keep doing it that way GL.. compreesor motor throiugh out oil and moisture.. have u ever drain a compressor of water and actualyy looked at what in it..any u do what u do im just saying..

  • @bodaciuos357 - That depends on the compressor then guess, I haven't seen any moisture coming out of the one that I used in this video, it's just compressed air...

The people who have killed their cards with air cans have done it because there was water flying out of the can. Air cans are the worst things that you can use for cleaning electronics.

  • nice way to screw up a card.. first off u dont use air from a compressor. it contains contaminants and moister .. and i hope u regulated the air pressure. u can loosen or brake parts.. that not the best way to clean a graphics card .. get dry air can form retail store.. graphic card arent cheap.. GL

  • @bodaciuos357 - False. This doesn't screw up your card and this compressed air doesn't contain moister. Only thing that can have moister in it is a cheap air can. I know at least 3 people who have killed their cards with air cans and I don't know anyone who has damaged his card with compressor.

  • isnt that frozen air coming out of the card while your blowing it?

  • @iraqiboy90 - It isn't frozen, just compressed. If I blow it into the card from one side it comes out from the other side taking dust with itself.

  • hey have you played black ops on this card because i want it and if you have how many fps you get because i cant find anyone with results on it thanks.

  • @gamersfan - Hey, unfortunately I haven't played Black Ops with this card.

  • WHAT WOULD BE AWESOME IF AMD WOULD INVENT THE BACKWARD FUNCTION FOR FANS SO YOU DO NOT NEEDED TO CLEAN IT JUST TURNING IT ON AND ALL DUST FROM HEATSINK GO OUT OF YOUR CARD!

  • the compressed air is the easiest way to clean your computer , i use the back of a vacuum cleaner and its working fine and its fast :)

  • What kind of air compressor is that?

  • and.... hows your temps now?

  • Thank you for inspiring me to stop dicking around with the cleaning process. Canned air just does not cut it. I dropped my idle temps from 90-100 to 50-60 at 25% fan speed. Good video.

  • I appreciate the video, I obviously did not do this correctly the first time, since I did not notice temperature drop at all :o Thanks for the video!

  • I don't know why, but the thought of cleaning dust out of computers with an air compressor is AWESOME. :D My computer has NEVER been cleaned for dust in 6 years. Can't wait till the weekend to see how much dust there is. :P

  • i think parts of your card ar flying out :)))))))

  • @IoNGhiDoN - They aren't, compressor isn't powerful enough to blow the components off the PCB.

  • @arvutihull it was a joke!:)

  • boa ideia O_O vou limpar minha HD 4890

  • omg....i cannot believe that graphic card can be that dusty

  • wouldn't it be easier if you just took the cover out?

  • @paulgnc24 - No, that would take much more time and it would void the warranty.

  • what camera is this the colour is fantastic

  • @2564651jcr - Thanks, it's Sony DSC-W290.

  • hmmm so that compressor...can we fill balloons up with that?

  • @ableman8 - Yes.

  • phew.. ATI 4870 smoke

    .dont breath this...

  • why not just use a water hose?

  • very nice

  • @dsdsz30 - Thanks!

  • omg, like a new one :D

  • damn :O did you take a crap in it? how much shit is that?

  • where is this place is aswome

  • @Brian2094ify - In Estonia =)

  • Surely if you use a normal car type compressor like that the air if full of moisture?

  • @lewisner From personal experience, the air is quite dry. However, the rapidly expanding air will cause some moisture to condense into tiny tiny drops that are propelled by the exiting air. This is not really a problem as long as the nozzle is not right next to the hardware.

  • I like the old truck in the background =)

  • i havn't clean my for years.

i just run fan at 60% and tempt is below 55

    lolz

  • Where do you live? (general area..)

  • Päris normaalne :D ainult veitsake tolmune oli ,

  • my god, every heard of filtering your pc intake fans ;-)

  • i don´t know why but i love to see people who clean the dust out of their computers LOL

  • Can't you destroy the chips if you set the pressure higher then 0.2 bar?

  • @Darkness251 - No.

  • @Darkness251 Thats an fucking fast answer! =D kk

  • @Darkness251 i cleaned my pc with almost 12 bars and i didn`t destroyed anything

  • #LOL

  • LOL that GPU cost more than that car behind you right? :D

  • @Vartrex5 - Actually no, that car cost twice as much as this card =)

  • @arvutihull Well, the video card probably cost 2 bucks then. XD just kiddin'

  • Man you can start a FUC**** ROCK BAND!!! WEEEEEEEE

  • that is one dusty card

  • that is 1 dusty ass card

  • I think with a backyard like that i wouldn't be such a nerd...lol

i should really get me one of those tools you got there, any names? i have the same card btw.

  • i love it when my graphics card blows me

  • Very Clean #LOL

  • i did my whole pc like this, Damn very fine dust coming out of it and getting in ur eyes... not pretty at all but its worth it :P

  • hast du in deiner graka ein Hühnchen gerupft oder wie kommt das zeug da rein?

  • Wow the dust just keeps coming out !

  • you should never use shop air as it can contain water as seen on 1:23 and like we all know water can damage the card

  • holy smokes! thats alot of dust!

  • omg after this i took my vid card out of my system there was no air going trough te heatsink even not with a air compressor so i took it appart every corner of it was full with dust (not my pc parents pc it is 8 years old never opened it before)

  • Looks pretty effective, but isn't this harmful for the card though?

  • @maggotvenger94 - No.

  • @arvutihull hey if u use a really power full air compresser and u see the fan on the graphics card hold the fan if u dont then u gonna break it that y he was holding his k hope this helped.

  • @arvutihull - It is because using air like that from a air compressor send water droplets out the nossle from the compression process. which is why u need to purge the tank after use cause the water currodes the tank.

  • @deadmeatlg - There was no water coming out from the compressor.

  • nice background. Reminds me of Crysis :)

  • @tuberoako777 - Thanks! =)

  • i would love to do the same thing to my gpu, honestly my 9800gtx+ is dirtier than yours

  • How much pressure (psi)?

  • @Th30ne7 - lol, house is clean, just can't be bothered to clean the graphics card every week.

  • funny how poeple buy air...

  • I feel the need to do this myself... Same card, and i havnt cleaned it since i bought it like 18 months ago

  • i wonder how much dust is in your PC clean that too plz!!

  • @AeroFix94 - Yes I always clean my PC also when I clean my graphics card, I even made a video about that a while ago...

  • @arvutihull hehe thats good :D is that card the standrad edition? not a another name you know like XFX,ASUS,Gigabyte? is this card standrad name?

  • @AeroFix94 - It's Club3D brand. Looks pretty much the same as original 4870 X2's from ATi, except that Club3D sticker on the fan.

  • get dustfilters

    get dustfilters everywhere

  • @EddieLolz3r - You need to clean the dustfilters also, they get dusty with like a week.

  • whats the adapter you use for the pressure hose.

  • What were the temp drops?

  • GJ BRO thats how it DONE!!!

  • good job :)

  • You seriously need a case with dustfilters...

  • holy bajesus

  • is ur air from the compressor clean? i think you are spraying dirty air into the card~ :)

    joking~

nice card~ have the same as yours~ gonna use the air can to clean~ i dont have compressor~ :)

  • Holy sh*t! even my grandma got less dust man!

  • WTF!!! XDDDD

  • @FishPhilzey - lol, I'm not rich enough to buy a new 4870 X2 when the old one gets dusty ;-)

  • @arvutihull or you could just mount a different cooler

  • tenias vuelta mierda esa tarjeta no? jajajaaj

    buena limpiada!

  • do you live near a mine?

    XD

  • @hahaha10001 - No I don't.

  • @arvutihull that was fast.

    hhehe.

but thats a lot of dust. I need to clean my 4850 too, almost 10 months no cleaning.

  • if i do it i can lost the garante

  • @radiel100

    Why?

  • heck, clean it every month even

i like how you went UNDER the heatsink

  • Dustfilter?

  • damn your backyard looks like one of the Bad Company 2 missions !!! CRAZY

  • @PersonalComputerTips Exactlly! His mission is: "Clean the f***in' video card before it gets too dusty! Failing is not an option! xD

  • @shhnedo hahaha yeah

  • Just lo0ks mine X1950 xtx :D after 4-5 months T!! humb uP !!!

  • wtf so crazy

  • u might as well remove the cooler, takes more work at first but then u can completely remove all dust. Not looking forward to do that with my 5870 in the future heh

  • Amazing! Even with watercooling, radiators need to be blown out the same way!!!

  • Very true, the number one killer of video cards are dusts and they are everywhere T_T

  • OMG! de_dust XD

  • haha well found

  • Obviously, a good idea to do this and man, that was a LOT of dust. But as someone else mentioned, you have to watch out for condensation in the lines. You need a line dryer, I saw a couple of pretty wet blasts there.

  • just did my cards and they looked exactly like this it was crazy

  • i have a feeling my card will look like that too.

  • What type of compressor did you use and what was the psi?

  • this air compressor can destroy the card! its highly compressed, I m working with that stuff and it took out one pis of ceramic from the wall, bileve me be carfull while u using it

  • quanta cazzo di polvere !!! ma dove lo ha messo questo il pc ?! O_O

  • Twat.

  • WTF::where did you placed the pc..?

  • Seeing that in HD really made my day...

  • LOL how you put your finger on the fan isn't such a great idea. I did it on my 9800gtx+ and it started spinning real fast and burned a slice into my finger, hurt real bad.

  • If you use an air-compressor, make sure to keep it drained well to avoid having moisture blowing onto your expensive computer hardware.

I like to use canned airs so I don't have to walk to the cold ass garage.

  • Did this with my 8800 the other week and got temps down by +10deg

  • Two of those cards are godly.

  • holy shit!! that was a lot of dirt!! :O

  • Video quality is amazing !! ,Gonna do this to my XFX 4890 soon lol

    Bloody dust :@

  • kust sa HD 4870 x2 said?

  • Poest.

  • mis poe nimi on

  • GNT laost ostsin.

  • ok thx

  • @arvutihull ok, sa ostad koha pealt või tellid. Kuidas koha pealt osta saab?

  • Ma tellin.
