  • GOOD!

you should try an edgi 6.00 bull barrel

    one question:

Where do you buy the camo material for the aeg?

  • Thanks, but I like my rifle setup as it is. buy a gun sock or camo tape off ebay.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • As a member of the US military and a practitioner of airsoft. I must say I enjoy your video series. The information is consistent and precise. I my self prefer to "stalk"/snipe rather than the run and gun. I did steal some very useful Ideas for concealment of the gun and kit from watching your series. Keep up the good work, happy hunting.

  • Cheers. We play a different style of game to regualr Airsoft or mil sim. Check our website for details of FIELD HUNTEERING events. In such events you need to play with whatever tactic/speed/direction you feel is required. Moving slowly all the time is fine but still doesn't mean you will get the drop on other Hunteers. Against skirmishers maybe.

You often move fast to risk/gamble a flanking move in dead ground after sighting opponents. Hope you understand what I mean.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • I'm trying to choose between these and Golden Balls. Also, what weight would you prefer for use with a BAR 10 firing at stock FPS (maybe 10-40 higher with teflon mod).

    Thanks,

    Stratton (1337a1rS0fT3r)

  • I have read reports the Blaster Devils 0.40g are high quality than Madbull. I have no experience with Golden Balls, but again have heard good reports. In a stock Bar10 I would use 0.30g (SGM 0.29g if you fit a tightbore and are feeling flush). Ialso recommend the firefly hard vsr rubber.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • I think I'll go with Mad Bull .3s then. I don't have experience with SGM because I can't find them on any USA retailers (I'm an American bastard) and RedWolf has extremely high shipping costs (when it ships to the states at least). Where do you buy SGM BBs?

  • We bought 15 boxes when they were cheap in the UK. You tried WGC?

You know they are called 0.29g Super Grand Master. Made by Maruzen. They are very very accurate but the light weight limits their range. I don't think the Madbull 0.30g are the same quality as the 0.36, 0.40 and 0.43g but I may be wrong. The KSC perfect 0.30g is a good value pellet available in the US.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • Never heard of WGC before. I'll be sure to look at it. I've heard some stuff about KSC BBs too. Maybe I'll buy like 100 of each type and see what works best.

  • Never mind the last comment. I'll buy 1000 KSC, 1000 Golden Ball and 1000 Mad Bull 0.3 gram BBs. Once I find the ones that work best I'll sell all the ones I have left over. I'll fire 5 shots of each from 150 (possibly 200) feet and see which ones are most accurate.

  • Depending on the pellets surface, you may find the hop needs to be set slightly differently for each pellet, despite them all being 0.30g

I suggest you fire off more than 5. I suggest a magazine of 30 on a paper target at 150 feet from a prone supported position with ALL shots aimed at the bull. Try to find a sheltered location or choose a calm day to do the test otherwise it will be flawed by too many random elements.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • The range at my local rod&gun club never has any wind. I'll go there and put a rest on my gun.

  • Excellent. However, until you fit an inner barrel with higher tolerences you may find it hard to establish which BB is actually "best". I also recommend that you fit a firefly hard vsr rubber.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • I'm buying an EdGi barrel too and firefly bucking along with barrel spacers and I'm gonna do a teflon mod. I think that's all the accuracy an airsoft sniper could ever need.

  • To get ultimate accuracy, you also need to make the gun fire as consistantly from shot to shot as possible. I mean velocity here. So aswell as it going straight left/right it will fire at the correct height every shot. Work on groupings and test the pellets using that method.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • holy crap those are huge!!!

  • goldenball ball bbs sry my bad

  • try using golden bowl .40.i think you will like them better ; )

  • i dont really care how much they cost, im a great shot and hit most of my bullets =P heh

  • Those bb's are expensive. Its like £22 for 3000, almost 3 times as much as normal weight. Sure, they're heavier, but still quite expensive..

  • I think you can get 2000 for 17 GBP at firesupport. Still way cheaper than buying 0.29g SGM that I normally use. Good Hunting ;)

  • Great video (as unusual). What chronograph are you using--it seemed fairly impressive.

  • how is the target away ? and how is the field of few? i hate short breeze

  • does it hurt when you get hit?

  • Depends on range and power of the rifle. Also which part of your anatomy gets hit. Some are painless, but others produce welts. Good Hunting ;)

  • STOP USING THE MANBULL BBS!!! they WILL fuck up your hop up... searce for them on google... I've use them myself for a little while now and thereis some kind of residue left on my hop up knob from fiering the bbs at high velocity!!!

  • man that takes some power to propel a .40g bb

  • whats this cool music and where do you get it!?

  • Hi phantom, how much more fps do you get by using the g&g powerpack? (You still have you KM impact plates installed i guess?!!)

One more question: have you ever casted a glance at the king arms vsr-10 hop-up conversion kit for the Tanaka M40a1? => do you know if the 2 roy is better than the king arms one?

  • I have not chronographed my G&G powerpack mags yet. The KM is in co2 mag, so not easy for me to compare them. The King Arms kit is identical to the 2ROY or PAX kits (it's just rebranded). Good Hunting ;)

  • Thanks for the quick answer! Good Hunteering! :-P

  • Hey phantom. I have a Tanaka M24 without any upgrades/tunings. Im using Greengas and 0,36 Cyber Stealth BB's. Every time I relode the BB's get significant scratched by the nozzle ... I can't shoot shit even at temperatures about 20°C ... Did you have the same problem with your m40 ? Does the new nozzle from the 2roy kit solve that problem ?

  • I own the M24 but that as never happened to me.

  • Tanaka rifles HOP takes a while to bed in (500-1000 shots). They come somewhat well oiled. Maybe those pellets are rather soft? Don't get me wrong the tanaka action can be unkind to pellets, but I think the key is when pushing the bolt forward, don't use the handle; instead put it forward with your thumb on the rear of the bolt (called the cocking piece). The nozzle on the 2Roy/KA kit is much longer and needs to be seated straight to avoid loading problems or shaving the magazine. Good hunting;)

  • hey, what is the advantage of a bolt action sniper over a AEG sniper like a M-14 or an SPR?

  • More accuracy and effective range. Often sites allow higher power only for bolt action compared to semi auto. High Power AEG's are often louder too. Also bolt actions have less to go wrong, so more rerliable at high powers.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • oh ok thanks

  • They are good pellets. Just not as good as 0.29g SGM in my setup at closer ranges (I often shoot 50-60m).

    Good Hunting ;)

  • using a rifle thats 450fps using .20g pellets, what would the fps be using these .40g's? around 350?

  • 317fps

    Good Hunting

  • thanks man =D love ur videos.

  • its hard to say what the fps will come out to because spring rifles wouldnt have the same power with heavy bbs as gas or even electric.

whatever your set up .40s definetly get more range providing you add more hop to make sure it isnt dropping off and zero the scope to where you slightly arch the shots. and 450 fps sounds fine for those. but theres always .36

  • They wont always give you more range, effective range, but the overall distance the bbs are reaching is likely to be shorter.

  • Hmm maybe I watch this tomorrow again...

April the 1st. Hmm Youtube is upside down ;)

  • its really good how you all review the new types of sniper pellets that come out, its extremely useful and it saves us a bit of money! :)

  • Always loved 6mm hunters' videos and always will, great job guys. Its pretty cool to let the whole video buffer then move the point from one side to the other, you get to see the shadows move from 10 minutes time.

  • Good Vid. thanks for the review

  • OMG .40g BBS! Probably have to get the BB surgically removed if you shoot somone in 20ft. XD

  • no way the more its heavy the less it goes fast

  • at the muzzle yes, but compare the speed at 200 ft. the more mass the bb has the more kinetic energy it has. It's also not all about fps.

  • Thanks for the review. I never liked Madbull anyways.

  • I heard that the material rubs off on the bucking and causes the accuracy to decrease after 100 rounds or so?

  • Sweet video! Sick BBs!

  • Wow. 40 g BB's.

Now we are talking dead accurate possibilities.

  • You got that right man!
