The biggest question I have is: what are you doing that for? I dont argue that the swing wont function properly like @kiker7sboyfriend said the impact is similar. But swinging like that wont increase your swing speed drastically, otherwise tour players would be doing it. I find it hard to believe that a seasoned man like yourself can hit it 350, regardless of how you swing it.
he's making sure the leading (left) arm swings freely down the line, and that the hands lead the clubhead - that's it - that's all anyone needs to do to hit it straight and long - those 2 things are what generate everything else - the limited turn, the early left side, the right hand coming off - all about getting the left arm down the line as free and as long as possible - watch and learn - if you can do it with more turn, and without letting go with the right hand, you'll be Freddie Couples
@TheMushroomsAreHere My swing is not about trying to win a beauty contest. It is about slamming the drive down the fairway the way that works for me. Thanks for your comment. Hammer
@wholebrainplanet I was talking about how weird it looks, with the stance and the one hand finish. I have no idea about results, I dont plan on trying it out.
@wholebrainplanet lol uggghhhh i see no strength pal ..yea its goin straight good for you thts wut the game is about keepn it in play.. but dont get ahead of yurself this swing wouldnt last a second if yu were under pressure
@BubbaWatsonfan15 I used to be a very good baseball hitter and this is my style with a baseball bat. I just carried it over to my golf swing. Check out my other videos. This swing works for me. Hammer
@jpsartrean The "chin" of the ball is the 5 oclock position. My ball is teed up at 4 inches so I can literally hit up on the driver. Where most people hit the equator of the ball, I hit considerably below that line and get higher launch angles and less backspin as well. This leads to awesome ball flight dynamics. Check out my book Whole Brain Power to help in your ball striking skills. Hammer
@wholebrainplanet WTF is the "5 oclock position"? Furthermore, why would you want a totally different swing for the driver than for all your other shots? Or do you tee it up this high on par 3s too?

Impact position is similar to that of a traditional swing. Thats why it works. Anything will work if you get back to that position.

@kiker7sboyfriend You are aware of what is necessary in the golf swing. Thanks for the comment.

I'm not going to lie, it's a very ugly swing, but if it works for you... good for you.
