@shimmerspear Dude I'm a gay christian, god does not hate gays....he does not hate anyone! He even says it! now, when you read the verses in the Bible that you think say that gay go to hell, your reading it wrong. For the time of the Bible, people would be married (stright) and have gay sex on the side, that if what it says not to do. Do not be a prositute and do not have gay sex on the side. And those towns that were destroyed becasue of homosexually, they weren't, look it up.

@YayShadow Please explain to me these passages because I seem to be too dumb to understand them: 1 Corinthians 6:11 treats homossexuality as a curable disease. Leviticus 18 and 20 clearly states homossexuality as an abomination.

I've known 5 'gays' in my life and I can tellyou that those ppl are anything but "gay" (happy, cheerful)! They are the most bitter, hostile and depressed ppl I have ever seen. I think they must have adopted that term to try to convinced themselves that what they are doing is right. But their consciences will not allow it and so they are miserable!

You've mistaken cause for effect. We (gay people) are taught to be ashamed of our romantic inclinations, we are oppressed by most churches, and we are often rejected by our loved ones for our sexual orientations, over which we have NO CONTROL. Suicide and depression rates are astronomically high among gay people NOT because we're gay, but because of the isolation and prejudice we face. There is no inherent problem with us; the problem is society's lingering medieval morality.

Consult any accredeted psychological or medical association for evidence. It's a benign variation in sexuality, and variation, as any biologist will explain, is natural. I don't hate Jesus; he opposed organized religion as I do, and had nothing negative to say of homosexuals. The only problem I have with religion is nutjobs like yourself. Jesus would agree.

The "truth" you refer to is the result of indoctrination, not unbiased moral understanding. If you saw things clearly, you'd agree with me. Also, I haven't had a first time. People would say gay is a defyance against ones religion. But the ones that are truely homosecual describe it as a lable. Gay is more of a life styel then a lable to one gay. I believe one mortal does not have the right to judge another mortal, so what gives humans the right to say just because you are gay you do not need rights. According to the people giveing homosexuals the right to harbor rights is going against there religion when in reality, The rights for homosexuals is a state issue

In fact, if you read Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 you will see that God is already in the process of cursing America. are you willing to embrace these rules as well? Everyone would be cursed if the whole book was given attention to, instead of just a few sentences. Times have changed, and people have evolved since then. The bible never mentions gay relationships as they are seen today, as actual relationships. America also isn't even close to the first country to accept gays, America's just the first to make this size a fuss over it.
