Honest to Deity, the first time I saw JR on DWTS, I did not even NOTICE the scars. I just figured he had a different kind of facial planes or something like that; it did not even hit me that he was a burn survivor, let alone an Iraq war vet. The word "hero" gets tossed around too casually sometimes. J.R. Martinez is a genuine hero, and a beautiful man in every way. Congrats to him for everything good that has come his way, DWTS and all.
