A Christian merely means someone who believes in Christ or the Messiah. If you believe in Yeshua you are still a Christian. Paul was a pharisee and became a Christian when he believed on Christ. Why can we not just inquire for ourselves? Religions and race, etc. are used divisively because we choose to use them that way. There is no division concerning All That Is.
@bandoogiemanz I feel the same way man. I have never understood why people feel they need the bureaucracy of a religion between themselves and their god/gods. Don't get me wrong, I believe passionately in a creator, but I am not and never will be naive enough to follow any religion revealed by men.
I believe religions are a framework from which one can build their relationship with God. I wish people would respect the rights of others to follow different religions. I sometimes ask myself, while we see different religions and paths amongst ourselves, does God see that? Or does God see a soul trying to return to it's origin. Why would God reject you because you're not following XYZ statues from a particular religion? Would you do that to your child?

I am of the HUMAN RACE, dead in sins, cut off from God, due to the sins of our father Adam and our Mother Eve, Genesis 3, and of course our own sins. The bible states that Isreali heritage does not save. In John 8 I think it is, Jesus fought with the Pharisees and they kept appealing to their heritage with Moses and Jesus said in John 3 that you MUST be born AGAIN. Toda sista my best friend whom I have been trying to get to understand the truth was inspired to read and seek a personal relationship with Yah. A Christian merely means someone who believes in Christ or the Messiah. If you believe in Yeshua you are still a Christian. Paul was a pharisee and became a Christian when he believed on Christ. "Ye shall know them by their fruits..." Matt 7:16 We know Paul was a Christian by his fruits that came forth in ministering the Word of Yeshua. The covenant was open to all mankind from the very beginning. Israel is the whole world we all need to wake up and build up the kingdom.

@kandiburbslammed Obviously the disciples did not call themselves "Christians" because the word is an English word and they obviously did not speak English. On the other hand, they were indeed followers of the Messiah and his teachings. The term Christian merely means, one who believes in the teachings of the Most High's only begotten son, Yeshua. I highly doubt that people mocked them by calling them "Christians" an English word when they did not speak English.

I know how my sister feels, im no longer a Christian, and I used to defend it..! But I just couldnt defend it anymore, Christianity is not full truth, please stay away from it, I was there and where I am now its just so great no words can describe... If you believe you are an Hebrew, then I am assuming that you are a follower of Christ which is what Christian mean(Christ-like.) The more I learn, the more I am of the opinion that is just does not matter what your nationality or heritage is.

I am learning that there are many paths that lead to God, and no one path is holier than the other. If we are all looking to seek out a personal relationship with God, then why do we need someone else to tell us how to do it? Do we not all have personal access to the Creator? Why can we not just inquire for ourselves? Religions and race, etc. are used divisively because we choose to use them that way. There is no division concerning All That Is.

@bandoogiemanz I feel the same way man. I have never understood why people feel they need the bureaucracy of a religion between themselves and their god/gods. Don't get me wrong, I believe passionately in a creator, but I am not and never will be naive enough to follow any religion revealed by men.

I believe religions are a framework from which one can build their relationship with God. I wish people would respect the rights of others to follow different religions. I sometimes ask myself, while we see different religions and paths amongst ourselves, does God see that? Or does God see a soul trying to return to it's origin. Why would God reject you because you're not following XYZ statues from a particular religion? Would you do that to your child?
