  • If it was me I would have fuck it. Their airing some bullshit version of his interview any. So what's the fuckin point of stressin about bullshit. He got fired, lost his family, threats from his company. What more else can they do. 3-6 months I would have disappeared, came back an act like ain't shit happened.

  • Christ, are all women incapable of creating an intelligent and well constructed argument, or is it just the feminazis on youtube?

  • Hashish is the rproblem in the middle east and saimilar drugs. Tobbacco is harmless compared to this stuff.

  • The movie is cut in half. Freezes and goes no further shortly after 5 min. Plz fix

  • This movie is pure intelligence, perspective and genius.

  • I understand sticking by your man but I'm a Mom and if my kids were threatened with murder I wouldn't be able to stay either. The thought of putting kids in danger brings on the mother instinct to protect. She may have not asked for a divorce if there were a way to put her and the girls into a witness protection program. So far, I haven't seen that offered so she has to do the best for her kids. I don't see where she has lost love for her husband, I see a scared Mom.

  • More men than women r responsible for families breaking apart. That is not the case in this movie - in this movie the husband is a hero - so I'm not referring to this particular story. But more men than women r responsible for families breaking apart because the man can't keep his pants on & have ethics- & it is a fact known to marriage experts that most men RUN AWAY when marriage difficulties happen instead of DEALING & being a real man about it. Men start to LOOK AWAY to ESCAPE. Like a child.

  • @zenalaus I doubt that. The overwhelming majority of divorces in America are initiated by women. If divorce statistics say anything, it's that women don't want to deal with marital problems. And if men can't keep their pants on, then neither can women. It takes two to tango, to use a cliche.

  • @scottvska U can doubt it all u want & it still remains verifiably CORRECT. I did not say I'M the person saying this- I said MARRIAGE EXPERTS say this. IF most divorces r Initiated by women its BECAUSE OF most of their MEN'S UNACCEPTABLE INEXCUSABLE INTOLERABLE BEHAVIOR. For ex, 1 phenomenon that's overwhelmingly perpetrated by men is domestic violence. Don't for 1 moment try 2 pretend I said 'no woman could ever perpetrate it.' I said "OVERWHELMINGLY" perpetrated by men. JEFF WIGAND IS A HERO.

  • @zenalaus What marriage experts? You made a bunch of unsubstantiated claims. How do you know that most women file for divorce due to "men's [sic] unacceptable and intolerable behavior"? Most incidents of domestic violence may be caused by men, but that doesn't mean that domestic violence is the cause of most divorces.

P.S.: if "u" want to comment on my channel again, start using proper grammar and don't write in caps. If "u" can't manage that, then go be an obnoxious fool somewhere else.

  • @scottvska I didnt say domestic violence was th cause of most divorces. I gave it as an example of th kind of thing that causes a married person 2 go as far as divorce & something overwhelmingly perpetrated by men. I mentiond infidelity also. When was th last time u heard of a FEMALE sports star or movie star BETRAYING her spouse ala Tiger Woods, Sandra Bullocks husband etc? Do your Own homework on marriage experts if u'r as clueless on it as u admit &this screen has no italics so I'll Use caps.

  • @zenalaus So long retard.

  • @zenalaus Ingrid Bergman, Elizabeth Taylor, Princess Diana, Jennifer Lopez, Meg Ryan. This is as far as I could be bothered to go. Face it, you don't know as much about people as you like to think, and neither do these marriage "experts". What makes them experts? The amount of failed marriages they have had? You are only interested in one side of the story. You have a sexist attitude to men. You are emotionally compromised.

  • @zenalaus Are you, by any chance, a woman?

  • PJ CLARKE'S Great old bar in NYC...

  • at 5:30, isn't that the investigator who had interviewed the ex-wife??

  • check out the evil grin on the investigators face 1:42

  • check out the evil grin on the investogators face 1:42

  • to colt, couldnt have put it into better words myself. That really pissed me off too.

  • i really hated Wigan's bitch of a wife...he gets fired for standing up for himself, then does the honorable thing and tells the truth like a man and she fucking leaves him? as soon as the house and car the country club membership are gone, they're out the door.

  • @Colt2571 was that wigand's real wife at 2:00?

  • @Colt2571 I guess she's worried about the life of her kids in the first place. But frustration seems to narrow a mind.

  • @Colt2571 I agree.

    American women=bitches.

    They DON"t have your back.

You'd have a better chance finding a loyal wife mail order from the Philippines.

  • @wheelinthesky300 I'm an American. What r most American men these days? Creeps & jerks who dont have A CLUE about how 2 actually have a RE-LA-TION-SHIP w/a woman in marriage. Hundreds of millions of people in this country & out of th adult population of women, MOST American men cannot find ONE they'r capable of keeping in a marriage: these men lack th know-how & ethics. Their fragile little 'I-need-2-pretend-i'm-a-king' egos & prejudices think a "foreign" woman will worship their sorry Arse.

  • @Colt2571 You R Prejudiced Against Women. U also c what u want 2 see c despite facts. Yes Wigand does the honorable thing & tells the truth like a man & u should do th same. U weren't paying attention apparently when u watched th movie. She STAYED w/him despite a smaller lifestyle & a lot less $. What she left over was DEATH Threats against her entire family including her kids. So when was it that u've been thru death threats 2 your family? Oh, that's right. U haven't been. By th way Jeff=Hero.

  • @zenalaus obviously she didn't care about the family as a unit, she was just being selfish...if they're getting death threats, they';re ALL getting threats, including her husband... taking the kids and leaving him to be alone and probably slaughtered? helluva wife he's got there. families stick together through thick and thin as a UNIT, that's the point of a family what happened "til death do us part"? sorry, but she fucked up.

  • @Colt2571 So he needed 2 b protected from murderers by his wife & kids? No One agrees more that families should stick together thru thick & thin- & marriage vows r supposed 2 b KEPT. NO ONE agrees on that more than me. But th fact remains that anyone saying she left because of less $ is just saying whatever they think will rile people up, what feels good 2 them 2 say so they can put it down. I didnt say it was ok for her 2 divorce her husband. But saying she left because of less $ is incorrect.

  • lol@"What kind of shit is this? I was not ON the team, I SPARRED with the Olympic team."

  • I am not an attorney;I would think Wigand could sue CBS too; for encouraging him to blow the whistle and then not air it. Yes? No? Im sure maybe! He may not get to own CBS like B&W could've cuz they're rich and powerful. But he could've gotten a lil sumtin sumtin for his losses and aggravation. If anything to expose the hypocrisy. This movie has got me man. The actors; the lines are awesome. And the story is better than fiction. Thanks much for sharing.

    peace.

  • Wigand should just Youtubed his entire testimony! Great film and terrific quality. Thanks

  • when wigand is talking to lowell on the phone the guy passing behind wigand is the investigator that talked to wigand's ex wife! is he the same guy whos been stalkin wigand throughout the whole movie?

  • @edge299 .... well spotted!

  • damn i feel bad for pacino at the beginning here. he has to tell this guy whos practically put his life on the line that it was all in vain, and before he does, he finds out the guys wife and kids left him over it. and after he gave his word that by him talking, it would make a difference

  • @corbandioxide,

I actually feel bad for him when he first met Wigand. He's trying to help this guy, and he keeps fucking up with noone there to support him.

  • are you one of those brainless morons who like to watch movies to see shit blow up?

  • not at all, exact opposite. Have to say though, modern movies are so poorly written, dialogues, plot etc. This one is no exception. If you placing such actors like those in one movie then...well my expectations are high. That's all.

  • doesn't Pacino have a cell phone, a journalist who has to use a public phone every time he wants to make a call is ridiculous...

  • kermit what were you watching at 7:01 looks like a cell phone from here.

  • This took place back in 1996. Cell phones werent the staple in society that they are today.

  • @thecandidate0607 Actually, cell phones were not that common in 1996.

Primarily owned by people who needed them for business.

Became a staple starting around 1999.

Ah, back in the old days, when we were innocent.

  • cell could be tapped. public is safer? that's my guess anyway.

  • The film takes place around 1994-95, cell phones were not that common back then.

  • @kermittherabbit Yeah, it's weird, he keeps switching between cell and pay phones.
