  • what was render time in vue

  • Wow !!! Very cool. But... I want to know how long did you made that.

  • New Test Drive:offroad map?

  • Impressive!

  • @vmj51 thanks

  • Did you use a renderfarm for the rendering?

  • I dont use a render farm, I use only my pc:Intel core quad core q9950 2,8 ghz, 8gb ram, Ati 4870x2 Thank you very much for your interest

  • @Sswip That's pretty sick man! Should be long to render all that :P

  • @CendrillonDL D:D:D:D. I am pretty sick man muaaahahhahaa.

If you think that, i am pretty sick man. You need see "3d animation Vue 9 xStream". (/watch?v=kjX44jYtx7g)

    ^^

  • @Sswip so what was the total render time? nice! :D

  • =P sigue siendo precioso =)

  • very good animation

  • @Ricco3Dworld thanks you very much, i recomend you:

    .youtube.com/watch?v=kjX44jYtx7g&feature=channel_video_title

Its the next video, I hope you like it even more than this..

Thanks you very much for you comment.

  • Some really nice scenes. But why dont you use more frames to make it more smoother?

  • @hendricbuenck I did not want to use more frames, because I needed to reduce the render time. thank you very much for your comment. I hope the next video (which I'll post shortly) this failure is not so remarkable.

  • This is really dreamlike ... I would like to use the background music. Could you tell me where I may find it? Thank you.

  • @davids5a2 The song is: Wind Queen (Two Steps From Hell)

  • I hope the video Vue xStream 9 is ready in less than 1 or 2 weeks, I hope you like it and also thank you very much for the comments.

  • how did you animate the wings of the eagle?

  • @DarthOskilor I make in poser , i view videos and i have a lot of patient :D.

  • Wow, very nice animation !!

  • @88xeneon thanks

  • Great combination of the software tools. I plan to teach multimedia students to use such tools in the future and would like to use this animation as an example. They will have an eagle fly to the mountains. Our local mountain (Mt Warning - Australia) - tried to embed link but it blocked the Post function. So you can see why your animation is a great animation to show that it can be done.

    Thanks

  • Oh my God, amazing stuff.

  • wtf it´s EPIC!!!!!!!!

  • @AlphaPenner :DDD. Thanks

  • @AlphaPenner damn right, a lot of effort in this one, camera work was awesome ! Check my Vue vid "the clays" i think its a vue 8 maybe a 7

  • Very nice. :) I've thought about getting Vue a few times, but could never figure out which version to get, thankfully, the next issue of 3DWorld magazine will have a copy of Vue 8 Frontier (one of the cheaper "for artists..." versions). What was the song you used?

  • @TheGuardianofAzarath The song is: Wind Queen (Two Steps From Hell )

  • how long does it took you to make the world animation & to film it?

  • @BloodyLoveCherry I take 3 weeks ago but now take slightly less

  • hello, what a good CGI movie making software

  • @petenicezz thanks

  • why won't this play back smooth?

  • @DanielManahan Maybe because he didn't put in 24 or 25 frames a second. Looks like 16 - 20 frames here. Either that or he extended the footage to make it looks slow motion, But flippen hell it looks awesome!!!! Love the eagle flying :D

  • @ADMediaEmpire I use 15 fps due to render times and adjusting the video with the music I had to extend material. I'm glad you liked thank you very much. PS: I hope the second video also like

  • 3D Max as a program, Vue 8 xStream for the forest, After Effects for the effects and Poser 8 for the bird animation. But... with which program did you make the water? with the xStream or Max?

  • @AlienMatej xStream

  • @Sswip thanks :))

  • @AlienMatej yourwelcome

  • @raba36 i send you mp

  • thanks,,,but in rar i can't install it,,,,see you thanks

  • that was amazing. hd makes it look better, it was very well done, camera angles are good.

now, if you want to make this even better you're going to need to render it at a higher frame rate. cuz that was hurting my eyes.

anyway... what was the render time on this?

  • @TickleWorld 2 weeks aprox.

  • Very Nice!!!!

    10!!

    Watch . . .

    youtube.com/watch?v=fso8tpdbIxs

    - - - RENDERING IMAGINATION - - -

  • is it my PC or does this clip only have like 15-20 fps?

  • The clip was reduced to 15 fps to reduce render time. (The eye

Man is not able to differentiate more than 7 fps). Good point: D.

  • @Sswip whats eye man?

  • Sorry I was wrong

  • @Sswip yeah lol i guess so :D

But i understood the part that it of course takes longer to render if there are more fps. Thx!

  • @Sswip

Nice clip, but dissagree, the human eye can tell the difference up to mid 20's fps. I think that's the reason movies are shot at that rate (24fps).

  • You may be right.

Thank you very much, anyway I think I will use the 15 fps, because it dramatically reduces render times.

At least until I get a better PC.

  • @Sswip is true...even in high FPS sometimes will see more smoother things.....cool render by the way

  • @Sswip I don't want to be rude or something, I just wanted to let you know that the human eye sees at maximum 30 fps. :D I understand how hard it renders on 30 fps, it gives me pains sometimes.

  • @tekmrs, you're right but for now I will continue with 15 fps until I get better computers.

    Thank you very much.

  • @tekmrs well a human does not see at 30 fps explain why there is pal 25 fps? and 24 fps for hd

  • @Fokkzel, It is a hot topic I guess but I think 24 fps is right for everyone.

  • @Fokkzel Did you verify your statement before? Go wikipedia dude, don't give me the " Yeah, I bet you're wrong. " until you actually have something. Wiki says 30, 30 it is, maybe you have problems and you go to 1 fps. 1 thing, Pal is 24 fps..... not 25, and it goes to 24 fps because it takes less to render. Is it pretty clear?

  • @tekmrs Uhm dude.. everyone can put something on wikipedia

second i study movies so i think i know at how much fps a human sees moving images, NTSC(American) is 30fps PAL(Europian)25 fps

the reason why that is is because of the colors the nickname of NTSC is also: Never The Same Color Hope you enjoyed my lesson

  • @Fokkzel D'oh, you're a pain. The human eye / brain combination can see well over 100 frames per second and thus far the limits have not thoroughly been tested yet. Suffice it to say, IT IS NOTHING LIKE THE 24, 30, 60 or even 100 fps crap, that gets spouted on the Internet. Hey, just wanted to say that you were right for 25, although the app I work in says 24. Btw, I do movies too, I can clearly see the difference between 15 (frames per second ) and 30. :) it's pretty huge. And you said 7.

  • @tekmrs i never said they only could see a specific amount of frames i just said a human does not see only moving pictures at 30fps..

a human sees motion after 12 fps or something i only said 25 is pal and ntsc is 30

and i never said u couldnt see see the diffrence between 15 and 30 fps..

and i never used 7 in any of these comments posted on this video

but w/e just wanted to help lol

  • I'm agree with this:

After Sees a human motion 12 fps or something i only said 25 is pal and ntsc is 30

It is better the more fps, but I think it's a youtube video and home made video. I need reduce render time, because i render to 720p and this increase lot of time rendering.

I did not want to spend much time on my one computer, that is my only entertainment tool.

Maybe when I have more computer-

    Thank you very much.

  • I thought the pal was 23.976 frames originally in normal cameras.

  • @Sswip yeah, that's what it's in a camera, for a certain reason After Effects goes to 25. :D

  • what tech specs does ur pc have ?

  • Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83ghz

    8 GB Corsair Dominator DDR2 1066

    Ati radeon 4872x2 2gb

    Screen 32LG45 32''

  • How long did the project take you? Not the rendering (I know you answered that already) but the actual building the scene and animating, etc... I ask because I'm trying to judge the time commitment for a VFX shot and want to have an idea how much a 3d scene like this might take to make.

  • It depends on the escenam, for me the most important is to have the idea when creating it, if you know well the program can take between 1 h and 5 h depending on the load, your question has many answers, my scene I told you between one and five hours, can take even less the thing is that there are no problems or gliches anti alising to be remedied.

  • @Sswip Yea, I know it's a hard question to answer, but I was just looking for a vague idea which you provided. Thank you, and just in case it needs to be said, very nice work!

  • Amazing

  • I have a question what parts were done in 3ds max? and Poser 8?

  • eagle modeled in 3d max 2009 and animated in poser 8.

All renders and landscape in vue 8, postproducction in after effects

  • how long did this rendering take you?

  • I'm not sure but I think around 40 hours on the hd 1080p.

  • Construtive critique. Why the hell there is trees on rocks??? 0:25

  • I was not looking for a realistic landscape, but rather I was looking for a particularly beautiful landscape that had not ever seen, thank you very much.

  • This is just pictures right ? its not graphics .. just alot of picrures.cuz this takes nothing from you Gpu. tell me

  • No, this does not detract from your gpu because, the video is "rendering", ie the process of change polygons to images, assign and calculate textures has already been done.

That's why what you do not take anything from your GPU.

Sorry for my english, i hope you understand, thanks.

  • Quite good, but the last animation is a bad one, sorry.

  • 3d animation Vue 8 xStream HD 2

    COMING SOON :D.

  • your video has a strobing effect or gitters. you can fix this by editing keyframes and increasing frame rate to max 99, or by skiping frames from 1-2-3-4 to 1-10-20-30 or 1-100-200-300 for example. strobing effects work good underwater like a submarine under the ocean but not above sea level. otherwise it's a great job.

  • en 1º lugar ya sabes que me encanta este video >.<

en 2º yo te quiero más y punto pelota XD

  • Fantastic!!!!! How did you get the 3d world to have the earth continents on it? Did you use a DEM from USGS? What about shading. Any tutorials you can point me to to get the Vue global terrain in the shape / shading of Earth? I have been using globes with a high-res image of Earth to show it from Space and haven't been able to figure out how to do the zoom-down on the earth planet in VUE (Can do it in random terrain planets, just not one that looks like Earth). Cheers

  • beautiful

  • The song is: Wind Queen (Two Steps From Hell CD1 Drama)

  • Very good work :)

  • I want to see such amazing graphic in the computer games :D

  • Great video, please share with used song title :)

  • nice animation!! watch my renders too ;-)

  • What is the name of the song ?

  • The animation is in poser 8. Thanks for the starts, Clambercty i try make a tutorial but for now i haven´t time sorry.

  • Did you annimate the eagle in Vue?

  • the camera moviment are similar at CAD camera...as binary of train...must strong and little smooth...

  • Awesome! 5 stars

  • NICE WORK! best I've seen.

This is outstanding there are not words to explain how good this is. EXELENT make more please.

And im cerous im learning how to use 3ds max and poser 8 I know how to use after effects and Vue 8.

Did you make the bird flap its wings in Poser?

Can you through a quick little tutiral on how you made that? Thnx and good job again i want to see more !!!!!!!!!!!!
