His large size is also in part caused by the fact that, like goldfish, crocodiles don't stop growing so long as they have a steady supply of food. Gustave has been around for approx. 65 or so years...plenty of time to get huge.

Yall know that gustave has probably mated with alot of female crocs.That mean his genes,especially the ones that make him big,will be passed on to his offspring.If hes around 60,then he's mated alot.Which means he has alot of offspring,which also means at least half of them took on his large size.So there are other crocs out there,probably around 16 feet long which are his offspring,That means when they get older,they will grow to 20-23 feet long.
Word of advice if you manage to spot a 60yr old, 20ft 1ton crocodile whos probably killed more than 200 or 300 people run away and leave it the fuck alone, its in its own territory and it would fuck you everywhere, dont try and be a hard ass by attempting to capture it because if you do i hope it tears you apart and leaves you for the maggots.

His large size is also in part caused by the fact that, like goldfish, crocodiles don't stop growing so long as they have a steady supply of food. Gustave has been around for approx. 65 or so years...plenty of time to get huge.

Yall know that gustave has probably mated with alot of female crocs.That mean his genes,especially the ones that make him big,will be passed on to his offspring.If hes around 60,then he's mated alot.Which means he has alot of offspring,which also means at least half of them took on his large size.So there are other crocs out there,probably around 16 feet long which are his offspring,That means when they get older,they will grow to 20-23 feet long.

Word of advice if you manage to spot a 60yr old, 20ft 1ton crocodile whos probably killed more than 200 or 300 people run away and leave it the fuck alone, its in its own territory and it would fuck you everywhere, dont try and be a hard ass by attempting to capture it because if you do i hope it tears you apart and leaves you for the maggots.

@supersmash43 uh yeah they were dickcheese, this is an abnormaly large croc, sure crocs used to be this size, but that was like thousands of yrs ago, since guns were invented crocs have been around the same size from then till now.

@supersmash43 That is not the case, the species peaks at a smaller size, he's abnormal. 500 years ago he would of been the largest of the river at the same size. If you want a massive croc you need to go back far more than 400 years, you'd need to go back to the ancestors of the modern crocolids.
