NOW that i've gotten that off of my chest SCSU is indeed a GOOD band meaning: NOT!!! superior or excellent but GOOD better than MOST if you will... MORRIS BROWN WAS a Excellent Marching Band and it has been proven STATE needs more work before you all can even compare to MBC's Legacy
first of all lateness.....Morris Brown College Never closed it's door the didn't have accreditation the college was still operating..... which first lets me know im talkin to some one who does not research before speaking....lastly MBC is now up for reaccreditation and has already renewed it's band program and like before excepting students so go read a book dumb ass!!!

30 years of EXCELLANCE ......JSU, SU, FAMU, BCC, MBC, GSU, ASU(ALcorn State) ...that's an example of noteworthy excellance now i am familiar with SCSU "old school" 101 but guess what thats the past and the band could not have been that GRAND because South Carolina as a whole is just now comming up on the band seen anyway ...so know your history ... MBC did in 5 what yall are still doing in a 30 year span BITCH!!!

And I hope the new SCSU is striving to be on the level of the Marching 101 from the 70's, 80's and 90's because those were bands were great and not any band from MOB. MOB had nothing on those bands..
