@Rurikar "We already have a grail". I spent an hour or so trying to figure out a way to make one, without success (couldn't get rid of the last block supporting the water source). FustyWumpus (another player) then spent another hour or two deriving an order of adding & digging away blocks that actually worked. There also doesn't seem to be another video showing how to do this exact thing on YouTube. So, yeah, for us it was hard. Do it in the wrong order and you don't get a thin wall.
That's odd. It works perfectly fine on our SMP server, and my wall's been standing for the two months since building it (and I spend a lot of time in the area). Ahhh, the mysteries of the servers... Does your wall just disappear (all water gone), or what?
@MorioKun1 What Saturn2K2 said. Search on "invisible water elevator reddit" on Google and you'll see some good plans there. After you make it you can actually carve away the 3 blocks supporting the vertical column of water to the west, which looks pretty cool (making it all out of glass == bonus points).

@xbunnyxbunnyx He knew the risks when he spawned at the very top of my tall tower. When he started to push me off the tower, that was the last straw.

You really really overthink how hard that is to make.

@MrErichaines
Well, the water source is still there, but seems to have been reset so it just flows as it normally would, albeit in the middle of the air.

How did you do that water jump thing? at the beging?
MorioKun1 1 year ago
@MorioKun1 That's a water ladder. Inside that corner is water, and since it's in the southwest corner, he can jump into that corner and "swim" up.
