wow, your prediction was wrong! mccain did not win. and the dems were not brought to their knees. in point of fact, the dems are the only party to put a black man in the white house. sorry.
I want Hillary too win.. She has told us what she is about.. but all Obama can say is he is for change.. Change for what.. He is never too clear about things..
Thank God *someone* is pushing for universal health care, refuses to undermine Social Security, and is dead-serious about steering us out of a recession. I'm shocked that she ended up a much stronger progressive on domestic policies than The Great Obama.
Obama and Clinton have both run strong campaigns. But Hiillary smeared Barack on choice in NH (I'm a NH voter and received the mailings myself). Barack has run on the issues.
I doubt very much that he would ever be her running mate. Very, very much. In fact, I think she will have a very hard time finding a runningmate, period. After the way she's run her race, with Bill C. jumping in at every turn --- who would want to play THIRD fiddle to Bill?
Who ever is the VP, if elected, first test of how big their 'stones' are, will be to put Bill in his place. Bill will attempt to have a bigger position than the VP !!
Let's face it: both are corporate-owned, political twins; it comes down to domestic policies. I'm honestly surprised Clinton's domestic policies are as solid and progressive as they are, much more so than Obama's (Social Security, universal health care, economic stimulus, etc.). If Obama had incorporated more of Edwards' policies, I would've voted for him.
"as women, will we finally respect each other's choices? Will we admit that there's no model for women today that is one size fits all? That we can choose full time work or full-time motherhood & home-making, or like most women, doing both at certain parts of our lives?"
nice to see an interview without the "reporter" (think cnn, etc.)trying to lay a trap. Tavis did a good interview, just like he would have done for a man, not as common as you might think. we face the b.s. every day - aggressive (female) vs assertive (male), don't like her laugh, clothes, etc. (i'm an attorney and even in that arena see the attitudes, you'd think not but it's still that way, not so much when younger, but into 40s and up and have a few wrinkles and you really experience it.)
Hillary is a Socialist. She failed in her attempt to make inroads into health-care back in 1992. in part, because of her and her husbands being ensnared from contributions from the AMA-can anybody say WHITEWATER?
She certainly would know how to a run country, either way I vote I pray that whoever becomes President that he/she does everything in their power to better the world and restore our nations reputation.
she has no feelings, WTF any real questions like what is going on with this corporation eliminating our rights as we speak in America. Football Games have nothing to do with our lives. just another way of bringing us down!

Hillary sounds like my 9 year old daughter arguing with my 11 year old son when he is willing to play a game with her.
""" I know its a word game, but "your" words don't count"""
""" I know I agreed that Florida's votes will not count, but I won there, so I now want them counted."""
""" If your going to beat me, I wanna use the super delegates to beat you"
""" I WANNA WIN!!! I NEED TO WIN!! IT'S MY TURN!! I DESERVE IT!! YOU PROMISED!! IT'S NOT FAIR !! JUST LET ME WIN!!
