  • d most beautiful car evar...

  • umm yes this is a real jag, and screw audi compared to this gorgeous machine. You should probably test drive this thing before you hate on it. 385 horsepower stock, 20 speaker sound system, 1200 watts, doubled sided windows to keep noise outside out and noise inside in, 2nd nicest leather in the world stitched on the seats, digital dash, turn knob gear shift, and sport mode that automatically clicks in your seat belt, and much more. all this for 80 gs, 510 hp for 110 gs, nicest car for the pric

  • Dont know why you're all talking about Audis in this video but to each their own. This car is very beautiful and so is that new A8 so it's really a matter of choice: Avant Garde British or the true Germanic experience? Just keep in mind both will be back at the dealers several times for repairs!

  • THIS IS NOT A JAG THIS IS JUST A KOREAN CARE RENAMED

THE REAL JAG WAS SHOWED BY BERTONE IN GENEVA

  • oh wow...

  • Great! but I'm a bit sad that the traditional look is gone but at least after a few years, the prices will drop and by then, I could get my hands on a second hand 2007-2009 XJR. I wouldn't really care if there's a newer model because the Jaguar XJ X358 model was and still is my all time dream car and I never wanted a car so badly as that one (even more than a Ferrari).

Still, the Jaguar XJ including this one still remains as no.1 in my favorite cars list. Can't wait for the R version of this.

  • Audi's are designed to reel in the shallow and small-minded who like paying 50-100% mark-up for a VW.............SAD

  • @gametamer Jaguar may hav pulled the all-time design icon with the new XJ but lets not forget who mass-produced the led-headlamps to the stunning body profile of the Modern Audi's. I agree that this car is gorgeous in every way but lets not forget Audi takes in plenty of parts from Lamborghini too (ex: audi's RS6)

...Lets see Jag build an R8 BICH!

  • @lidification check out the jaguar cx75, yes its a concept but can def be made into something to buy, electric and 1200 pounds of torque, 0-100 in 5.5 DAMN

  • whats with the cheap BMW Z4 copy headlights?

    ...and 2011 Camaro steering wheel?

  • @DINO1200 And yah, the headlights are simmilar, I do see that. I think the XJ's are more rounded than the BMW's, but yah, they are simmilar.

  • And sales of this new model are doing horrible, so I think they get the message at Jaguar. Im sure they are scrambling right now for the 2013 changes. Hopefully the brand will last until then.

  • @DINO1200 Actually sales are bang on what they were expecting.... Every car at the dealerships are already sold. Where have you heard the sales are bad? I'm a friend to ALOT of people at 3 different Jaguar dealerships, and sales for that car are doing great.

  • If I ever dreamed of the perfect design of a car, it would be the design of this one, its just so appealing, it looks luxurious with a bad attitude.

  • Reflections in the grill blow me out.

  • さすが、インド自動車メーカーでも、かっこいい!

  • I'd rather get an Audi too.

  • @PutYouTogether Are you serious??

  • @PutYouTogether screw you then why are you looking at Jags anyway if you want a Audi....

  • its horrible...looks like the 2011 Kia Optima!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @DINO1200 wtf are you on??!!

  • @DINO1200 Pleassse explain how.

  • @s54bmw see the pics i have on the Jaguar facebook page...the kia optima looks VERY similar.

A Jaguar is a legendary name..thats why I own one. But to trash ALL of the DNA from the past was a mistake. The c-pillar is a joke. and the Audi led lights are so NOT original. See the pics I have photshopped...

I have a degree in design and am a Jaguar owner...so I'm not just bitchin for no reason.

  • @DINO1200 @DINO1200 Have you seen one in real life? Also, keep in mind, that Kia steals designs from other manufacturers. Jaguar does not. I am also a Jaguar owner. I have an 02 XJR, and an 86 XJ6. They have not trashed all of Jaguars DNA with this car. If you are a true Jaguar fan, you can see this. Yah, it's extremely different, but it has not stripped away Jaguar's DNA. First off, it's a drivers car. Just like all Jaguars are.

  • @s54bmw They are not meant to have you in the back seat every time your in it. They are built for the driver. so well.Secondly, remember Jaguar's goal. Space, Grace, and Pace. If you ever get the chance to drive one, please do. It meets this perfectly. And the sound of the exaust sounds like the growl of a real Jaguar - one thing I dont know how they acheived

  • @s54bmw Not sure if i agree with that "drivers car" bit. Thats BMW, which is why bimmers have very firm suspensions and steering ratios. Jaguars are meant to be a blend of BOTH, hense the L versions ( which are meant to be DRIVEN in. )

  • . A few tweaks can save it....

return 4 separate lamps, vertical "British" vent, foward opening hood, return leaper, fog lamps, remove stupid black paint off c-pillar, remove cut lines from c-pillar, slimmer mirrors, with all the excess paint saved...paint entire roof black, a new steering wheel that dont look like a 2010 Camaros, ( buy Maseratis wood steering wheels) THEN ...

  • @DINO1200 The leaper can be put on. It's an option in the US. The reason that was taken off as standard is because in Britan, it's illegal to have a hood ornament. The blacked out C-Pillar is to accentuate the body lines, and have the roof of the car seem light and airy.

  • that face...that butt. that c-pillar. ugh. Its looks like electrical tape plastered over the pillar to appear like "glass" ..unreal. cheap and embarrassing. Esp for the $100k model.

  • @DINO1200 I would not say it's cheap... and it is glass. It does not just "appear" to be glass. Go and look at one in person, and check out all that you are talking bad about. It really is glass. What about the back of it?

  • The ONLY thing carried from the older Jaguars is the grill frame. THATS IT!

This is a huge mistake. They have failed to see that the XJ lines where so far ahead of its time, they needed keep a bit more of the touches that people recognize as Jag DNA.

  • @DINO1200 I dont think you get the point of this car. This is not meant to be a traditional XJ. This is supposed to be a whole new XJ with some things that make it still like a traditional Jaguar. The grill is from a series 1 XJ6, The sculpted hood is simmilar to that of an XJ300. The low and wide stance of the car is traditional Jaguar. The interior while looking totally new, still has the aura of a traditional XJ's interior.

  • @s54bmw I totally understand what they were TRYING to do with this car.

Jaguar sat for years unchanged, and it cost them. I agree with coming out with a new fresh "super-modern" design..BUT - retain alot more of the DNA other than a grill shape. The vents, bmw like headlights, the way the lamps cut into the front fender EXACTLY like a 1990's BMW 325i is a crime. I was at the Jaguar dealer yesterday, and sadly..it still looks Japanese...like a new Infiniti or Lexus.

    Its doesnt feel British!!!

  • @DINO1200 I have to disagree with the headlight part esp. I just looked at all BMW 325i's from 90 to 99. BMW's lights are more boxy, and the ends either angle up, or down. This has more shaped headlamps, and the bottom of the sides curve up, and the top of the sides angle down. It's different. I agree that they should have tried to not have them wrap around, but it's not the first time Jaguar has done that.

  • @s54bmw correct...1990 was way off...i meant 2008 3 series.

I wish Jag just had a thin led bar as the running lights there. The wrap around looks cheap. And for a car that costs so much, the fit and finish of the gaps on the hood were unreal. The car looked liked it had ben repaired badly. The gaps SHOULD be tight and even all around...they are not.

  • @DINO1200 So do you think that 99% of the cars on the road have cheap looking headlights? I mean 99% of the cars on the road have wrap around lights. And tailights too. I honestly have not paid that much attention to the gaps. Next time I head over to the Jaguar dealer, I will look at it. I would not go as far to say it looked like it was repaired badly though, or I would have noticed it right away.

  • @s54bmw I am a designer (graphic + interior) by trade...so I pay very VERY close attention to details...so many that I dont even bother to mention. But when creating an Instant Hit, you have to be innovative and think further outside the box.

such as: it would have be interesting to se the entire length of the rear window light up as brake lights, pillars and all...since LEDs are comon place very few companies are exporing new ways to use them. the headlights could have had "cat eyes" pupils...

  • @s54bmw these are just some examples of ideas that could make the car more memorable. I love the size of it, love the interior, love the exhaust note.

but i think the photoshopped version i posted on the Jaguar facebook page look way better than the real thing. I only hope they are watching....

  • @DINO1200 Where are these pictures??

  • @s54bmw youtube blocks links..so go to the Jaguar page on face book.

then go into the photo album. then go to the "fan phots section...keep scrolling until you see some side by side new XJ pics. I have done quite a few pics.

  • @DINO1200 ok i'll check them out here in a bit

  • The ONLY thing carried from the older Jaguars is the grill frame. THATS IT!

This is a huge mistake. They have failed to see that the XJ lines where so far ahead of its time, they needed keep a bit more of the touches that people recognize as Jag DNA. The car looks way to typical now. Same headlights as everyone else. Same hood opening direction as everyone else, same vents as everyone else, same squared off tail pipes as everyone else.

  • Wow...at night time this thing looks incredible

  • Wow. A piece of art
