I stood oblivious in Somersworth, NH at work in a convenience store with the tv hooked up ready to cheer on Christa and her crew- and the gutwrenching feeling that came over me in mere seconds- I knew that something went horribly wrong. My feelings all these years later, haven't changed even slightly.

Has anyone come across a clip where Christa voice can be heard. It's great to hear stories about her, I just think to hear her voice would be very poignant. To think 25 years has passed, I was in elementary school then, I remember that morning with great sadness.

I can tell you that the KRON story was from January of 1987 because about 5-6 months later, KRON would drop the Tuesday Productions News package and debuted the foghorn motif theme. In addition, Lila Petersen at the time was the DayBreak anchor alongside Lloyd Patterson. She would stay there until 1989.
