The 60s are soo different. It really is about having lots of options compared to the 50s where you were given more than just one solution only and told how to do it. The 80s went back to extreme conservative mode and then I guess now we're entering a possible liberal decade?
People still seem to think there's a single best solution for teaching everyone. Even if they don't think this, I guess it winds up happening. Kids that don't pick up on a certain method of teaching are considered slow or stupid... when really all you're doing is finding out who is good at taking in that particular method of teaching, rather than understanding the subject. I looked forward to movies in class, but I wonder if that was because I got a chance to daydream.
