I loved this on first hearing it now i'm struck by how brilliant it truly is,

I teach and a few days ago sitting with a bunch of 12 / 13 year old girls and the we spoke of days of old where for one they wouldn't be at school and secondly most would have been married off and more than likely mothers by 15, woke them up a bit

The sad reality in the song and the video is really heartbreaking. I imagine the song to be a consolation in that it delivers a strong message and call for empathy to anyone whose heart it touches. That was deep in there man. The lyrics were eye opening and painted a stark picture that could only make one think. I think Mark put it right about the lyrics and the way they are delivered. it kind of left me softened and wide open so that when the meaning starts getting through, it hits home.
