I can't understand why TNA don't push both of these guys. Red has amazing matches and is really over with the crowd. Homicide should be main eventing cause he is a great wrestler, can cut promos and has a good gimmick. Homicide should be the person who kidnapped Samoa Joe and then TNA should let them have a proper feud. By the way, Don West was great after he turned heel and was the best thing on Impact each week. TNA were stupid to replace him with Tazz cause he is OK but nothing special.

I wouldn't fire the 'name' talent; it's what makes casual fans become attracted to TNA. Old school wrestling fans see those guys and go "Hey, they aren't retired! Let's check this out". The formula is - the big names bring the fans, the new talent keeps them coming back and keeps them glued to the TV. Plus, it's not like the "older talent" is holding these guys back.
