I'm glad she didn't go off with him, not that she ever would have anyway. But life married to a king wouldn't be as great as some people think. You'd have to live your life by protocol. The places you could go would be limited because as a queen it would be too dangerous for you go anywhere without protection. You'd have very few friends who were there for you and not for your status, and even fewer friends you could be casual with. Not to mention your husband would be too busy for you
