I believe the song is about the many transformations he and we have to undergo from birth to death. I've been a Cee-lo fan since his first cd with the Goodie Mob, and he has transformed himself. He started as a conscious "dirty south" rapper and has transformed into a more peaceful musician withouth boundaries. We all have phases through which we pass until we die.  He's calling it transformation. And the brotha is far from goofy looking. You're obviously an asshole.

And yeah I got the CD (St. Elsewhere) and it took me a while to get the deeper meanings and word plays of these songs. It made me love them!

This version is quickly becoming my favorite of their works. And although it took me a while to warm up to the CD version I quite like it and respect it.
