so it starts at 250 so lets go with 250. currently the 250 pay 35% income and they probably have about 5-10% more in other taxes, which leaves them with about 55% of their earned income. thats about 137.5k a year which is 11.48k a month! now after obama basically they keep 50% of their money which is 125k a year, which is still a wopping 10.42k a month. even with a 3k-5k mortage, they will still have 5k-7k left over for monthly expensives which is more than enough
