@ThomasEdwardFreeman i have never seen this version before, and you have reduced an old man to tears. Absolutely brilliant Sir, and saved in my favourites as number one. Wonderful.
Hey to everyone who has been kind enough to watch and comment on my video. It was the first video I made and am chuffed its got so many hits. This is the only fan vid I have done but feel free to check out some of my other videos.
@ThomasEdwardFreeman This is brilliant! Excellent work indeed. I love Oscar Wilde and Stephen Fry, and for this track I must say Morrisey got me =) Thank you for adding this work of art.
@ThomasEdwardFreeman Awesome video, awesome song, awesome movie. Not many fan vids have any sense of timing with the footage and music, can tell you put heaps of effort into it and it definitely paid off. Thanks for this gem. :)
This brought me to tears. I think I cried for a week solid after reading De Profundis. I couldn't think of any one person that could do the justice to Wilde that Fry did. That aside, what a brilliant song; I love this, thank you.
no body is treating homos and dykes like second class citizens.
A lot gays out there are trying to cater the world to there lifestyle and it's not going over well....kind of like when anything is forced upon you.
Be gay, it's fine....but the only way most people wold even know was if you were being tastelessly sucker facing and groping in public or prancing around naked in the streets with your 'gay pride'
no one knows or cares until you are pissing it in their face.
Some people might think I've committed a sin by saying this but this by far one of the best songs ever written by Morrissey in both his career with The Smiths and in his solo career. This video is solid!
Thanks for the effort...this is brilliant! A very underrated Morrissey creation, pity, and a pity how very little we have learned as a civilisation! We still treat our gay brothers and sisters as second class citizens! Thanks for selecting such an appropriate accompanying visual to this song! You are an artist my friend
The Soul of Man Under Socialism by Oscar Wilde, brilliant. You can get order it from AK Distribution/AK Press.

This is really powerful, the song is perfect for the video and vice versa. I was tearful all the way through, very emotional.

"Your leg came to rest against mine, and you lounged with knees up and apart. And me and my heart, we knew. We just knew..."
That lyric is so well put, perfectly worded. Know exactly what he's saying.
