  • your choice of music is awful and annoying but i love your projects

  • Good idea we don't do that where I live..but I live in Wales and by law no shop gives away bags plastic or paper, you have to take your own bags. We are big on recycling. Any other suggestions for wrapping materials (recyclable of course)

  • @WelshCraftCrazy Good for Wales- that's one way to help people remember to bring their own! When I was a kid, we made these using inexpensive squares of muslin cloth. Apparently, most people us Kleenex tissue (I didn't know that until I read all the comments on my video!). Alternatively, any white material will work- old tshirts, workshirts, sheets- anything that is thin, white and needs a new life.

  • Great recycling idea. How about the brown paper bags. Any ideas for recycling those?

    Tere

  • @paprluvr You have read my mind! I just filmed a project for Thanksgiving featuring all the paper bags I've managed to collect lately. Stay tuned- it should be up within the next 2 or 3 weeks =)

  • i've made these for my class. i used tissues. i also made a larger version for decorations with styrofoam balls and felt (the googly eyes look good on those). if you get the right size ball there isn't any cutting other than making a hole for a string to hang them with. love your plastic bag idea though.

  • I made a cemetery in a box and made the suckers with coffee filters and a rubber stamp for the eyes-faces. On one end of the box I made a haunted house from my Cricut and glued it to the end of the box. I made a sign "Take one if you DARE". My co-workers loved it, some even took pictures (I work for a major craft store).

  • @msclstaat That sounds amazing! If you have a photo- I'd love you to share it on my The Guilty Crafter page on Facebook!

  • Cute, and I love your stories- I can so totally relate to wanting to sign up for everything for my kid too and to having tons of re-usable shopping bags but not remembering to bring them with me, great use for the plastic bags!

  • Cute! I like the plastic bag variation. We made them this year using Kleenex. I actually felt a little guilty about wasting perfectly good unused (obviously, I'd hope) Kleenex. But they're so cute!

  • @cmjones312 thank you so much. I don't know how I missed the Kleenex idea- everyone who has tweeted me about the pops has done that variation too. I like how the plastic bags crinkle though =)

  • thats a great idea! how cute would it be if you stored the ghost pops in the spooky spell book and presented them like that?! im sending pictures of my spooky spell book with a yummy idea i had very soon, i promise!!

  • @xxsiriusxburnxx - great idea. I'd have to dump out those Halloween Jenga bones, though ;) I just posted photos of the finished pops (had my little girl finish them, much to her delight) on The Guilty Crafter Facebook page.
