The lyrics are genius and have double meaning.

It was inspired by some fishing regulation for freshwater fishing e.g. Spanish Lake (St. Martin and Iberia Parishes): 8 daily with a protected slot limit* of 16 to 21 inches. No more than two fish may exceed 21 inches in maximum total length.

Then when you ealize you have a parallel with some industry i.e. modelling etc. well you got the lyrics of a genus song! :D

"They only want you when you're seventeen" could refer to the fact that many fashion models are scouted at a young age (usually 16/17 years old), due to their "fresh faces". "When you're 21, you're no fun" could refer to the fact that many fashion models don't last long in the industry unless you are extraordinary (e.g Kate Moss). I think "They take a polaroid and let you go" refers to the whole scouting process with agencies.

Awesome! I just saw them in Minneapolis on Monday. Helen sounds amazing live. She's a real crowd pleaser. What a performance! They did Ghosts, Seventeen, Destroy Everything You Touch, Witching Hour, Runaway, Mirage, White Elephant, Ace of Hz, Kletva, Beauty and some others I can't remember. I know Mira did two, Kletva and another. Lighting was great, fog, surging crowd. Was one of the best shows I've seen. Helen and Mira are even more beautiful in person. Prepare to be amazed!

Actually I think they did do Deep Blue. I'm not sure. I wish I had the money to drive to a second show. Helen loves a vivacious crowd so make sure you're ready to support. When they left the stage, we all chanted for an encore and the band came back out and did White Elephant and Destroy Everything You Touch. Helen saw the crowd was surging so before Destroy she yelled, "All right guys, here we go!", then rocked the hell out of the song. It was gorgeous.
