Far Cry2 was the biggest shit ever. The AI was shit, some of the *realistic* features suck dick (gun jamming), every fucking NPC wants you dead. The story also sucked.

Yep, there certainly isn't any other fire like far cry 2. Unfortunately, my PC won't be able to handle the graphics so I'll have to get the game for the 360.

The PC now is already better than any console that presently exists. By 2011 the PC will be at least 5X better than any console that will be available then. They have already made computer parts so good it can play the most detailed game availabe with everything on the most high settings. PC's are better, sorry kid, its just the truth. And all those errors are easily fixable. Plus upgrading is cheaper than buying the newest console.

if this is available on consoles like ps3, then this is not really a very demanding one, u can have at least a good high end card to play this on pc with everything on high but with acceptable resolution though.. then good framerates
yeah it'll definitely be in the same league, both engines actually seem to work quite similarly. however i think far cry 2 might need a little more processing power due to the fact that you can for instance set large fires.
Far Cry 2 is great . lacks a bit in game content , but overall environment and graphics are insanely stunning .

Its a shame they show it so sexy but 90% of us wont get this quality.
Gaming rig they used had 4GB worth of graphics and ran off a octo-core.

*Cough* it doesnt use the same engine. This one uses the Dunia Engine, which in fact, looks better than the crytek engine! I cant wait to get this! Im gonna have so much fun setting everyones homes on fire >:D
And yes, PCs are better than consoles :P

consoles are waay cheaper than pc u have to upgrade ur pc every year and than also the games u need to install and get errors all the time consoles can run games waay better and easyier over many years pc will be only used as a working pc and no gaming and gaming consoles will be just as big entertainment systems soon in 2011 the new xbox will come and it will own everything

The PC now is already better than any console that presently exists. By 2011 the PC will be at least 5X better than any console that will be available then. They have already made computer parts so good it can play the most detailed game availabe with everything on the most high settings. PC's are better, sorry kid, its just the truth. And all those errors are easily fixable. Plus upgrading is cheaper than buying the newest console.

yeah but they're actually taking the time to optimize it for consoles, that's one of the reasons why. but the rec specs will be the same around crysis for the pc

i know what you mean but from everything that ive seen is that i dont think it will be like assasins creed or haze looks more like a modern day oblivion with multiplayer and map editor

when the character is walking it sounds a bit fake. like the audible foot step noises happen even when your foot doesn't hit the ground

if this is available on consoles like ps3, then this is not really a very demanding one, u can have at least a good high end card to play this on pc with everything on high but with acceptable resolution though.. then good framerates

no. Xbox 360 games can't work on a PC, and vice versa (PC games are treated as a "Mixed media Disc"

yeah it'll definitely be in the same league, both engines actually seem to work quite similarly. however i think far cry 2 might need a little more processing power due to the fact that you can for instance set large fires.
