  • this guy is totally over-rated...here in Costa Rica I would be able to point 1000 drummers better than him.!!!POSITIVE!!!!

  • @COMODORMIDO I highly doubt that ..

  • That looks like a tough crowd

  • That ride is nice sounding!

  • @gijosephacoleman i think its weak

  • awesome, but his kick should've been louder...soundman should be punished for that one !

  • This guys pocket is phenomenal...definitely one of my inspirations in todays overplayed drummer world.

  • what snare is taht? =)

  • @Villiaam Stanton Moore Drum Company 14 x 4.5 Spirit of New Orleans Titanium Snare Drum - maybe it is

It's a Bosphorus Staton Moore 20" Wide Ride

  • @greenfruitface

All those cymbals are Bosphorus Stanton Moore series cymbals. I have that exact 20 in wide ride, 18 in smash crash and 14 in fat hats, all Bosphorus Stanton Moore series. And they are for sale for $900. Send me a message. Awesome cymbals. comes with the original Bosphorus cymbal bag.

  • 1 person didn't defend the coast

  • This is great man, real drumming!

  • I prefer somebody like Herlin Rily for also going somewhere else with the sec line trad and combining it with other influences such as Elvin Jones and Max Roach. thus making it a bit more divers. but thats just my opinion.

  • nice dunnett

  • Ridiculous control.

  • Imho, Weckl rules

  • @MrSpam05

If your opinion is humble, keep it silent, let it live proudly inside your head. Now that you have set it free, it shows us how unmusical you are.

  • Some drummer "fans" need a crutch in the form of a dazzling light show to go with their drum god's solo or else the drummer is crap. What dummies.

DAYyum , Stanton sommabitch got some FEEL

an his ballz are smooth as eggs

  • perfect example of a dude who knows his lane and runs the hell out of it. great drumming!!

  • This is super stiff.

  • Grrrrr...His grooves are so amazing, he's definetly without a dought a master of 1st and 2nd line drumming.

  • loved the solo, it made sense it was melodic kinda in the way he used all that phrasingt].i usually cant take more than min to 30 sec solos b4 they get to be too much, but this was listenable and interesting cuz it had great groove and was going somewhere . it made sense more than just blasting away and filling up all the space n time in a solo going full speed. not thats bad, just diff. i like that too sometimes

  • what hes not wearing a black tee!!!!!!!! WOW!

  • he always plays same pattern on his solos. boring.

  • @ransisua You should show him hows its done then

  • @ransisua have you ever seen him live? least boring thing i have ever done in my life.

  • @ransisua its based on a new orleans 2nd line pattern l2music

  • @ransisua u make me wanna fukn kill u

  • i love his snare drum..the look of it and sound ..

  • @blica1 I'm kind of partial to the beautiful hiss of his hi-hat

  • I may have a new favorite drummer! Musical, tasteful, nuance, dynamics, time, groove...good Lord, the GROOVE...just amazing. Tremendous conception of the instrument. Speaking of which: his drums & cymbals sound incredible also.

  • wtf

  • Feeling, groove, chops and a great ear for playing tastful. My kind of player.

  • this guy is smooooooth....

  • His ride sounds so amazing. If I owned that particular cymbal, I wouldn't need another one in my entire kit.

  • what kind of ride is it

  • He uses Bosphorus cymbals. Beyond that, I don't know exactly what kind model ride it is. It sounds so amazing though.

  • @greenfruitface - it's a 22" Bosphorus Wide Ride.

  • That ride is Bosphorus Stanton Moore 20" wide ride. I have one and yes it sounds just perfect.

  • @tanazoglu - that's a 22"

  • @drulius No it's 22" stfu

  • @Zackary1005 That's what I said. Why the stfu?

  • not to be cliche but the snare does sound an extra 5x better with the aquarian new orleans model snare head

  • Yes that snare is made by Dunnet..Its the titanium snare..Official name is Stanton Moore Drum Company Titanium Snare...I just got one..it is absolutely amazing...

  • Holy drums Batman - I swear I'm getting hard.....

  • is that snare a Dunett?

  • this man has unbelievable sound

  • sweet moses, those snare rolls were makin the hair on my neck stand up. smoooooooth

  • the snare definitely widens the spectrum- especially that tight crack mixed with some surprizingly warm tones. his symbols are not only great, but he has total control to bring out their fullest potential. we could all learn from this crazy kid.

  • Killer Stanton!!!!

  • god ideas just flow out of him

  • He makes me wanna move to New Orleans now.....

  • Tasteful playing man.....

  • His toms sound FREAKIN' AWESOME. Also, someone below described this as "liquid"...man, that's so right on.

  • sweetfly66 you might be absolutely right. listen to that ride crash at 0:15

  • he play so loose

  • brilliant solo and his cymbals sound unbelievable ... especially that ride cymbal ... it might be the best sounding ride cymbal i have ever heard

  • Now thats an interesting drum solo! Groovie!

  • motha f*ckin liquid man

  • He just NAILED it at the end there.

  • I just met him last night. I honestly will say that he gave one of the best performances that I have seen from anybody in a long time. His cd's do him no justice, he is 100 times better live.

  • My favorite living drummer. So musical. I don't even WANT to know how much a titanium snare is gonna cost though!

  • This guy is just the coolest cat around
