I'm at this part and i keep dying. but this game does require patience. im a knight and the main prob is when the boss knocks you over you dont get back up fast enough and he just hits you and you die. thats really frustrating.

Tip: When going through the bridge with the dragon. Take the first right. You end up at the bon fire and you only get hit once.

@ladiesmannumerouno The pine is in a room. You know the Dark Knight that was in the hallway? Go around the right into a door then once your in the house, go out the back and it should be in a chest.

@Fearoq he must have the blue titanite ring (i think) you get it from going down a pair of stairs next to a treasure (on the right stairs point down) you cant normally get and after a few spear/sword guys if you traget him and hold your shield up all the time get him to look at you and since the targeting makes the enemies move in a circular formation you need to get him to move out of the way then run and get the blue ring, dont matter if you die use your xp before you try this and get the ring

@Amaterasu100able I was atleast lvl 13-15 when i fought the boss do some grinding near the undead burg bonfire im a lvl 33 knight about to go to blightown . TIP: make sure when your about to go to the sewers after you've ringed the bell of the undead church you have purge items (you get them from the merchant that appears in the bell tower after you kill the 2 gargoyles) theres are really annoying curse frogs and if they curse you you die instantly and start off with half heath until your cured.

@drag975 the firelink shrine is the hub for most of the game where you go to new londo undead burg the sewers etc it stretches to most of the levels throughout the game also it is an open world but you are given certain things to do which is why undead burg is the first level since its also the lowest level you should follow a guide because some places are hidden within others make sure you read about a lot of secret items like the drake sword cause some bosses like gaping dragon are insane...

TIP: Heres a quick and easy way to kill the Minotaur boss. First, kill the two archers in the tower. Make sure you have Gold Pine Resin in your quick inventory. Then drop down the tower, and walk slow until the Minotaur shows up, and as soon as you see him... use the Gold Pine Resin. Run back to the tower where you killed the 2 archers. Go at the edge of the tower, and soon as you see the Minotaur below drop down and press R1 to stab his head. This should take away 40%-50% of its life. UMBASA!!!

There's an easier way to kill this boss, when the boss comes after you run up the the lather, then do a running jump and stab him in the air, then run away from him, he will come after u. Avoid his attack by rolling and repeat the above step 3 times, if you do it well he won't even touch you. Good luck

guys.....when u go up the stairs to get to the boss.....at the second floor before u enter the fog......take down the barrels.....and there is a lizar who drop items that u will need to upgrade ur weapons

heheh, in the beggining of the vid, when you walked down the stairs. retreating midaway is a very good choice, as the guy in the bottom will kill you in one hit!! (he kill me in one hit .... and all my attacks boucne off his armor.....)

nice trick with the weapon enchant... but an even better trick is to use plunging attack from where the archers was. do it 4 times and you'll easily kill this boss. somehow, a hard smash wont knock you off a ladder ;p

Not sure if anyone knows. The guy in black clothing in the undead burg, one of the first guys who you can buy things from. The one where you fight two spear undead and roll through boxes to get to lower level. The guy is always laughing at you and if you don't buy anything he tells you to jump off a cliff or something similar. Anyways, if you kill him, you get a bad ass katana

while fighting the dragon run down those stairs and go to the door on the right when you end up behind the dragon keep shooting its tail with an arrow once you do that it'll drop the drake sword... a beasty weapon

@JmAckiN303 if you get the uchicatana you can run up the stairs and wait behind a wall untill the dragon drops on the bridge then use gold pine resin run to the tail hit 3 two-hand hit and there you go you got it :P

A good way to start the battle is to run back to the ladder when he comes out and climb up and drop down on him like you did the first boss. Takes a good chunk of his health

@masterjin009 to revert to human u need to have humanity and use the bonfire to "reverse hollowing". the number on the top left is ur humanity. if its zero then it wont work, sometimes ull find humanity sprits, its an item u have to use to gain 1 humanity.

@Mecurisu get the residence key from the merchant, 1000 souls, it lets you get the gold pine resin if you dont have master key. Then try the plunging attack with it :) hope this helps if your still stuck, good luck :D

@pkf0rtzh4arutube kindling bonfires when you have revived to human give you more estus flasks but you need to see that another player is there first ( there the much more detailed ghosts you see near bonfires ) and if you have humanity you can loot better items from bosses,etc like the boar helmet (you need 5 humanity) to use them equip them and press x on 360 ( i have on 360 ) and square i think on ps3 ( i also have ps3 just dont have the game ) white ghosts are replays of other players deaths

That enemy is not worth the trouble. Tjhere is an item past him. You could get it and run but he will chace you to your bondfire and kill you inevitably.

And don't say avoiding a tough enemy is nooby. I played Demon's Souls atleast and these games aren't about brute force, you have to play smart. Demon's Souls was like easy mode for me, this one is tougher and so playing smart is all that much more important.
