I just start to learn ASL recently, am hard of hearing. I can sign some simple words now. I joined a great deaf daing site, ----Deafornot dot c om----, and met some good deaf/HOH friends over there. They help me to learn ASL.

A person who embraces ASL as their primary language will be considered a member of the Deaf community. I find many deaf friends on a Deaf dating site ----Deafornot dot c om---- Good luck to them!!!

@TrashKid63 mid-iowa . com but I cannot find the vieos there any more. You might look around there a bit and see if they're still up. That's where I also got the MultiTask one and one about the split body Rapid Rail that I have posted here.
i drive one everyday i work for the city i do about 1000 cans a day. remember these python arms are software driven basicly a small computer you can technicly say a robotic arm .we have the python7000 series it remembers the move like if you lift it up a bit on the next can the arm will lift up a bit for your next can so when it gets this glitch like sometimes mine does very rare, it acks up. you can go pretty fast as long there is nothing around the can thats the good part
Yeah that would be one of the reasons I'd like manual better because I'd always worry about hitting a car or something. Has that ever happened to you or anyone else who drives an ASL?
I work about 45 hours a week and take home about 920 depending on taxes and union dues and what not. 25.42 an hour plus 7.87 an hour put into pension. So that's like saying 33 bucks an hour. Damn that's sweet!
I drive a pyhton with a step out cab. These trucks are not as smooth as you may think. There is a lot of shaking (watch the drivers head). Plus some arms are faster than others and if you extra garbage outside the cart and more than one cart (recycle too) and not spaced well it can be not so easy. Sure if everybody has one cart and everything is in it fine. Even so some trucks pack better than others. They're not all that.
yeah, it sure does shake a lot...the carts close together are issues that pretty much no automated side loader can handle easily, this one is no exception. If you could possibly get some videos of your truck in action, that would be great! Thanks for the comment...BTW, what is the make of the chassis?
They are Volvo chassis. In Australia it doesn't seem like close carts are as much of a problem here than in America. Because the grabbers on the MJE's open aa different way to the Heil grabbers so they can get in tighter areas.
No, I was asking him what the make of the cab on his truck is, not the one in this video. Close carts appear ALL the time around here, the guys are very experienced with how to handle it and rarely tip any over when trying to squeeze in between.
tha garbage truck in this video really does shake by the look of it!!!!, tha side loading garbage trucks in aus do shake only a litte bit, but not as much as a american versions, quite facinating.but its still a good garbage truck..............
In Australia they have really only got rear loaders in the cities and tiny RL's for emptying bins in parks. They have seemed to of phased out RL's for the faster ASL's in some councils.
it appears that the garbage compaction vechicle ( Heil python) nevr drops any wheelie bins ( carts) because of the design of the mechanical arm... wat i wanna know is how many carts can it empty?
Yeah, Heil is pretty much a U.S. and European company so there unfortunately won't be any down there...but even up here in the States, I've never seen one (surprisingly)

yes one of our guys hit a car he said the grapper opened the side of door like a sardine can
javielo777 4 years ago
I drove a newer Mcneilus a few times and the arm blasted a fence on its own. That's why I like hyraulic only Curotto(SP)Cans. Plus I'm faster in them

They sure know why to call it a python. The Python is so smooth.

The motion of that arm just about seems like a python because it's so smooth and quick. Heil really nailed this one right.
brad202684 5 years ago
I agree. This particular operator really demonstrated how smooth the Python is!
Trashman242 5 years ago
I like the part at about 5:25 where he knocks the can back about 3 feet, then pulls it straight up to the hopper in one swoop.
brad202684 5 years ago
That is an awsome truck. I would sure like to operate it.
