terrible technical grappling standard, you cannot stand up in base like that and expect not to be thumped. The striking standard is also useless but I can see theyre older lads and out of shape so theyre just doing it for fun.If anything it shows that fighting 2 people is impossible unless you attack 1 first.
The fact that this is done over 4 hours is a testament to the groups physical endurance and ability to make oriented decisions under extreme stress. We don't train Krav Maga to hurt each other, and this was not a real street fight so of course the punches/kicks/knees/elbows aren't thrown at full force. However, we're trained people who have had to use (or use in their profession) these techniques in real life, so they are living proof that it works.
The roll's weren't convincing, they first set of rolls they were rolling away rather than stepping to engage, and second set of rolls seemed more like judo rolls than krav rolls.
jamesbigmac75 you should really be quite until you do this class... its not as easy as it looks! this stuff is hard i know this cause im training at the same place with the same instructors and im only in level 1. also to everyone else if you dont have anything good to say then why bother to comment? ohh thats right because you have nothing better to do then sit you your butt and my fun of people who are working there butts off!
first a fittness test should never be part of KM test becuase the art is made that an old man can take on a body builder (cardio is very important as is general shape but is not a requirment)
we have an 82yr ond man training with us would you make him run a mile
and his technique is better looking then these guys (he doesnt roll on his head and other things) and in general it doesn't look like what i learned and (i trained in the IDF and in schools of KM Federation in IL and in the US)
All of the sparring and techniques show on this footage is done after 2 or 3 hours of "warm up"...meaning non-stop ass-kicking cardio. Running 3 miles, 120+ burpies, "300" style burn-outs. And THEN you test for technique. And THEN you spar. "Tired" is not the word for what these people are feeling....
level 3 and you guys still have incredibly sloppy technique and don't know how to strike or block? I understand dropping hands and whatnot when you are tired, but the blond chick in this video is the only one that looks close to level 3

A 4 hour test on non-resisting opponents... Big deal.
And what exactly is happening at 2:09? A slap fight?
Finally, the ground 'training/ techinques' happening here are outrageous and going to get some poor overconfident person HURT.

A 3+ hour warmup and 1+ hour test to stress the mind in preparation for a street fight that demands 20 to 30 seconds of your most explosive reaction?
