Amen. I'm only 18 years old and I can see this! HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR WAY OUT OF DEBT!!!!!??? Please educate me...how is spending nearly $800 Billion gonna get us out of debt? Democrats have broken their promise to let the public see this for 48 HOURS...all because Pelosi can go on her 8-day trip to Europe and because Obama needs some good news for his presidency...I mean, his whole plan is failing...at least three of his nominees have dropped out...the bill still hasn't passed...need I go on?

Without spending and job growth the economy stops. It's not as cut and dry as you and your debt. The way the national economy grows is directly related to job growth and spending. The stimulus package is designed to create jobs and that's what it will do. 4 million Americans have lost jobs and without government help another 4-6 million will lose jobs. This threatens our country by depleating our capacity of growth and thus depletes our national security.

I might remind you that Obama didn't cause the financial crisis. I believe that was caused by the private sector that was allowed to be deregulated by Republicans for 8 years. And as for our national debt, sorry, you can't blame that on Obama; that was President Bush. So you are angry that the government is stepping in to help workers that have been victimized by the private sector's faulty business practices that have been allowed for the past 8 years under Republicans?

Wrong answer... The dems have been in congress for 2 years. Amazingly that is exactly when things started going downhill. You cant blame Bush for making these crappy loans to people with bad credit and who wont pay their bills. Thats on Barney Frank, Pelosi, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and their leaders. And we don't let these faulty companies fail. Then we have to look further back and see how the private sector was manipulated by the Federal Reserve with artificially low interest rates and tons of inflation which created bubbles. Wait until the Bonds bubble crashes. Bush spent tons of money causing the issue to come to a head faster than it should have and now Obama is doing the same. The whole montary system is the problem as well as having a huge government that spends your productive money.

If you watch, you will see that he is introducing another speaker. That other speaker talks about something unrelated to their debate. I had to keep the video under ten minutes, and I wanted it to not be too boring, so I cut it. I also cut off the last minute and a half of the Republican; he just kept saying the same thing.

No republican should vote for it the way that it is now. It will not work. Only 3% of it will work as a stimulus in the next 12 months. What kind of a stimulus package is that?

If the democrats want it, then let them vote for it and Obama sign it, and then let them be responsible when it fails, as I know it will.
