Can I just ask, and please let me just say Im not criticising as I love a decent knife as much as the next guy, but why would one need three knives + a leatherman to pop down to the shops?

I can understand a pocket knife for everyday use as for work I carried an opinal knife everyday for...everyday work stuff, but you carry so many different ones day to day....why? and why not just 1?

well, I dont like the knife on the leatherman, it is there but I rarely use it, I mostly use my folding knife.

The neck knife is for backup, the leatherman is for the pliers, and the fixed blade is because we live out in the middle of nowhere, and if the car breaks down and we have to hike it home it might be needed to have one....

Plus I just like carrying one also for defensive uses.

Some knives are better than others for different uses, thats why I carry them all.

Like the ones on the Magen or the Kestrel? I could do that, I made the one on the Magen, the one on the Kestrel came with it, but I know how to do that pattern as well.

Yea it is man, I dont know why either, one reason is the sheath, hard to build a good sheath for the knife cheaply as well.
