I have awesome friends but I also only have a few. I've found that when it comes to friendship, quality is more important than quantity. You need to find friends that are unselfish, confident and empathetic because those ppl would have your best interest at heart. You don't want friends that get jealous and turns everything into a competition. Those friends only look out for themselves, they are not supportive and they hate to see you succeed. Positive people make positive relationships.

Too true. I always kept to myself and it wasn't really until last year (my second year of college) that I realized that I had to go outside of my comfort zone and branch out to meet different people. As you grow older you really do learn who your true friends are and who you have as just acquaintances/buddies.
