Just because she can do like 20 body waves in a row and can do other sexy moves, does not make her one of the main dancers. Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, and Yuri just have that power and flexibility that Jessica does not have. MAYBE she used to be one of the best, but I really think Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, and Yuri (and arguably some of the other members) have improved in their dancing so much that its not even a question as to who the main dancers of SNSD are.

I love Yul noona, but I have to say that lately her dance skills have been lessoning. And here, Sica noona is displaying her dancing skills in such a fluid, graceful, and sexy way. It shows her maturity here although this was also in the beginning, during ITNW. I agree that Jessica is definitely one of the top dancers yet hidden b/c of her vocal talent, especially when she really works it haha.her movements flow so easily, like moving underwater, and smoothly too. O_O

This is why having alot of member is a bad thing. You don't get to show your full potential/talent. @ssmeenuss38 That is a good question. The answer is because Luna is not that popular as compare to her other members so SM let her dance. As for Seohyun the same aslo apply to her. But then there are other reason to it as well.
Everyone in SNSD can dance but Hyoyeon, Yuri, Yoona and Sooyoung are the main dancers because their singing isn't as strong as the others. Jessica and Seohyun are actually really good dancers, but since they are mainly involved with vocals they don't do the dancing. Of course everyone in SNSD is talented but they split the jobs so one half will do singing the other will do the dancing, but really everyone can dance.

Every person has a talent. So please, please stop fighting about what Lee Soo Man (Sunny Lee's uncle and the manager of SME) should do about Sica Unnie. I'm not saying I hate Sica Unnie but in short, I just want to comment that Sica Unnie sings and dances good! I also wonder what Heechul would be like. =) (?)

@MusicPicsGirls I read somewhere that when girls generation first debuted Jessica was a lead dancer along with Hyoyeon because she had trained the longest. I think that she trained for about 7 years.

you guys! If she's a better dancer than Hyo and Yuri, alot of people might have notice it already, but she's not. She's GOOD BUT SHE IS NOT THE BEST. Hyo and Yuri could do this dance just as hot. Sooyoung too..or not. I don't think she WAS the lead dancer because if she were, she would have been in Hyo and Yuri's part in Into the World dance part.
I love Jessica and all but let's not exaggerate things. And don't say that SM wouldn't want Jessica to have all the attention(Yoona, duh!) ,

@pongopanic she used to be a lead dancer when they first debuted. if you look at their earlier performances she used to be put at the front during the dance breaks with hyoyeon yuri and yoona. however ive heard that SM wanted her to focus more on being a lead singer. so nowadays shes just a singer. but shes really talented nonethless.

@TheASKahi It's not that she can't dance now, SM found her good in singing so they let her sing more than dance, but if you check other video where SNSD has a group dance or whatever, she is still looking hot while dancing..

And I'd think it's unfair if they aren't letting her do so if she still has it. Yuri noona is the one who holds the title of SNSD's sexiness, so when people want something sexy out of a performance, they put Yuri up... and I think Yuri's appsolutely stunning and sexy! I love Yul noona, but I have to say that lately her dance skills have been lessoning. Hyoyeon still kept her dance skill and continued with it which caused her to overtop Yuri quickly although in the very beginning, Yuri and Hyo were both the dance queens. And here, Sica noona is displaying her dancing skills in such a fluid, graceful, and sexy way. It shows her maturity here although this was also in the beginning, during ITNW. If Sica noona still has this skill today, I would like people

I agree that Jessica is definitely one of the top dancers yet hidden b/c of her vocal talent, especially when she really works it haha.her movements flow so easily, like moving underwater, and smoothly too. O_O
Hope so see some awesome dance from her some day =D maybe as one of the solo stages in their concerts~

i was surfing to a snsd jessica thread(dunno what website) and my eyes caught one comment saying that jessica was supposed to be a snsd's main dancer but SME made her focus over singing...but i wonder why jessica's always stiff even she's fluid,good,smooth,controlled,sexy dancer she is..the 3 dancers better watch out..even hyo ehehehe

This is why having alot of member is a bad thing. You don't get to show your full potential/talent. Jessica is a great singer as well as a great dancer but she can't showcase her dancing talent because she'll be getting all the attention to herself and SM doesn't want that because they want all the member to get attention. Oh and i don't you guys know this but Jessica know ballet maybe thats why Jessica can dance smoothly like that.

@gangstar102 i dont think its a bad thing for her, it was that huge number of 9 made them unique back to 2007, otherwise they wouldnt be noticed. Jessica is quite humble, actually all the members are but Jessica is the most humble one, shes that type of person doing exactly things what other people told her to do, nothing much/less to get attention. probably because she doesnt have any big goals in her life. She knows ballet? i didnt know that, all i know she plays piano really well.

@ssmeenuss38 That is a good question. The answer is because Luna is not that popular as compare to her other members so SM let her dance. As for Seohyun the same aslo apply to her. But then there are other reason to it as well.

Everyone in SNSD can dance but Hyoyeon, Yuri, Yoona and Sooyoung are the main dancers because their singing isn't as strong as the others. Jessica and Seohyun are actually really good dancers, but since they are mainly involved with vocals they don't do the dancing. Of course everyone in SNSD is talented but they split the jobs so one half will do singing the other will do the dancing, but really everyone can dance.

I think HyoYeon has dancing skills that could only be faced by people like YunHo, EunHyuk, TaeMin...
But I think Jessica is the 2nd in SNSD. Her movements are REALLY smooth, cute, precise. Probably she doesn't dance a lot cause she is already the 2nd singer, so she would get all atention for her.
But you can see she was chosen because of her dancing skills, like Hyo, in the beginning.

this was one of the promo videos for SNSD before they debuted.
kind of like the teaser videos they have for groups today, except for snsd they had separate teaser videos for each member. ^^
jessica was the eighth comfirmed member of SNSD, so it says no. 8 there. ^^
