Libertarianism is a little too idealistic, the majority of people today are too selfish to govern themselves. Also, I wouldnt put too much stock in promises or changes that Ron Paul or any politician for that matter makes a stand on, this is still samsara after all and they are still deluded.
Just because an ideal doesn't seem practical doesn't mean it isn't worth persuing. "It's better to spit at the moon and miss, than to spit at a post and hit it."

definitely sounds like Evanescnce. have you heard Aimee Allen - same genre? satinbarbi, you are correct, and for anyone who is wage employed, the easy way to do this is to simply get a blank copy of the W4 form you would have filed when you started your job, and simply put EXEMPT on line..7 I think it is...very easy. won't get rid of SS or FICA but will drop federal withholding - give yourself a raise to counter the inflation (theft of the value of our hard earned money!)

i am Filipino but i support Ron Paul bcoz he is a true conservative Republican & strictly adheres to the Constitution. my aunt & uncle who came home to visit us are Democrats & they'll vote for Hillary bcoz the economy was better under Bill.
i told them about Ron Paul, his platform & his record in Congress & i managed to convince them to vote for Ron Paul. they were sure that Hillary could turn around the economy but i convinced them she has not their best interests at heart, only Ron Paul.

Libertarianism is a little too idealistic, the majority of people today are too selfish to govern themselves. Also, I wouldnt put too much stock in promises or changes that Ron Paul or any politician for that matter makes a stand on, this is still samsara after all and they are still deluded.

Just because an ideal doesn't seem practical doesn't mean it isn't worth persuing. "It's better to spit at the moon and miss, than to spit at a post and hit it."
An ideal is ALWAYS worth working towards, even if you don't believe it can be practically be accomplished. It will always provide something better to work towards. It gives us direction.
