I can't think about any other interpretation than one connected with someone that has a terrible life or a terrible struggle with himself/herself and tries to bring out all his/her strenght to the surface to fight and win. About a powerful rise after a horrible period of being underground... though the video has shown that it actually doesn't end well. And I was stupid enough to believe they've made a happy song. :]

Remarkable video, quite hard to understand at a simple glance, but realy, realy good and 100% in accordance with the lyrics and music.
