a lot of people complain about my playstyle too. I'm just too nice online that I give them an opening for them and if they don't take that chance, I'll just ring 'em out. or just overall beat their ass.
People get on me about my playstyles as well. Almost everytime I get online someone complains about me using the essentials or every single move when there is an opening. And there is nothing wrong with the way they play? When I lose against people (and while having a good match up, to the pinch of a KO) I compliment them and vise versa. There are a few good people out there who take SC4 as I should be: A GAME :D I like your videos.
I really agree about what you say about using patterns that will ultimately lead to your frequent defeats. I practice on Edge Master mode and I know some of the fighters' (CPU's more) battle tactics and I can now fight on Edge Master with ease. From what I've seen so far about how you fight is how you are able to improvise? with your moves and not try to stick with certain combos: something I truly admire and wish to use myself. I think you are very great with Siegfried and I hope to fight you.
im a noob at soul calibur 4 but im tryin to get better. for example, im trying to learn the move dat u do in 2:17, how do u deflect the attack and bring him to the ground??
You'r really good and that looked hard. Heres a tip: try to know the timeing of you'r attacks that will let you know witch attacks are right for the time. For close range try counter attacks and fast attacks. When your opponet is on the ground try chargeing up an attack because when he's up your attack should hit him and do some damege. l hope that helps!
In any case I have to say that you seem to switch up his moves quite a bit and are quite proficient with guard impacting and predicting attacks and I respect that. Still if there's one peculiar thing I notice it's a lack of any quick moves outside of his stances (back+A, back+K, B forward). Still if it works it works eh? :P
I have no problems with low attacks but as for throws, that's something different. The only time I will advocate continuous use of a throw (outside a special match) is if it is used for a wall combo ie. Siegfried's over-the-head flapjack (not sure the name and though not really a throw). Reason being that I live in the middle of the pacific and have about a 2 second lag period. It's enough that I can't see fast attacks coming but once throws start coming in, It's just impossible to counter.
Well, imo it's fun! It's hard to explain why...it's just...partly it looks cool, it's like you're twins fighting! Partly I guess it's fun because, as much as you know yourself, you know your opponent. The more you learn about yourself, the more you know about the enemy. But, it's your opinion! While I don't agree, I can understand it.
another thing is wen u loose in a mirror match its not like u can say "dam that move they have is too fast or strong i need to b more alert" cuz u have the same move u jst haf to accept the person is just better than u
A win is a win. you think in a tournament they are going to care if the winner won by ring out. if its in the game and both people can equally use it then use it I say.
i came off of Virtua Fighter 5 playing as Goh Hinogami (fighting style: Judo) so i am pretty reliant on throws. too bad people are bitches about throwing too much. get skill and learn to block grapples, douchebags
i like to win so yeah i go for ring outs whenever possible but im not like "omg i lost im going to message about how your a bitch and how you do (put excuse here) too much. fight me again"
Additionally, one of my friends used to beat everyone whenever he played with Astaroth. After a while, I figured out how to beat his combo, and started slaughtering him with Cervantes. I eventually got stuck into the same routine with Cervantes, then I couldn't win any matches for a while.
He got up a split second before the move hit so he was doing a standing guard when it hit. Also if that attack gets guarded the opponent is left in a crouching state.
Lol, like your rant. I do that also for special ranked matches, fight without any extra skills or whatever. I like to try and embarrass those who think they are good. I do fair on most special ranked matches but it sucks when I come across a good player with good skills. All in all, it's still fun to do.
He only complained because he lost. If you're playing competitively, winning is what's important. Also, anyone stupid enough to get themselves into a situation where they can be RO'd deserves it. It's not in the game for no reason, after all. Same can be said about throws.
If they're playing in special ranked, they really shouldn't say anything whatsoever. If I recorded my special ranked matches, it would be terrible.. hp drain/block dmg 2a spam by my mitsu.. haha.
A mirror match is basically fighting against the same character. This applies for any fighting games but I guess its not a widely used terminology in a sense.
Sometimes I think you're a little modest, or humble, Bifordus. It can be hard to define what makes someone a master, but you're up there. Its all relative, I suppose. There's always gonna be someone better, or someone worse that just happens to win lol. I think I was too aggressive when I fought you. Need to play it somewhat safe next time I face you.
Haha, this is great. I'm glad you put up a video of some fights with me. It'll help me to study my own weaknesses. My defense is kinda poor sometimes. My offense if my strength, but its not so effective against a skilled Siegfried player such as yourself who is so familiar with the move set I have to work with. Then there's your guard impacting skills. Very nice. I don't always fare too well against other Siegfrieds, especially wise ones here like Bifordus lol. -Ysmir
yes. there is one with 2 or 3 variations to it. I dont understand what you people mean though when I see things like "a+k~A2". All that stuff I see just seems like algebra gone wrong.
a=horizontal attack on ps3 square b=vertical attack known as triangle k = kick so its circle g= guard = x button and all the numbers are like on a numpad 789 4x6 123 x is if you dont press any direction 2=down 4/6 are right and left and 8 up all the others are the other directions... hope that helped
That dude really loves impacts in the 2nd fight (i don't blame him) :) I wish I could play good with Sig, but I just stick with cervantes.

@warheart999
You crouch and and do the G+B grab. You can also throw them forward with Crouch G+A. Nightmare can also do these.
