@Kroy23 , you don't know what your talking about, but I like this video too. Mac users realize Mossberg is an Apple fan boy and don't take him very seriously either. And yes, we all can get a bit fanatic about our Macs after years of excepting the mediocrity of Windows. Windows is OK, but I don't really enjoy using it like I do the Mac. Windows was just something that I accepted I had to use.

It's an OS. What is there to enjoy about using an OS? There can be familiarity to it, but beyond the programs used, which Windows has a fairly large variety, while mac is a bit limited, for now (I'm a gamer), what "enjoyment" can come from an OS?
@Cyrathil you don't deserve those donvotes, because even though people may not agree, you make a good argument (which is rare here).
I'd say that since the OS sets certain standards for the user experience which most programs more or less follow, the OS is actually quite important to the user experience.

I can agree, the OS does set a minimum or maximum for the "quality" of the experience. If it's a crappy OS, then it would deter people using it by being archaic, or generally hard to work with. I still stand by my statement that I can't see having "fun" with an OS though. It can be frustrating and ruin any semblance of fun, no matter the programs used, but the OS in and of itself isn't "fun".
Or you could just as easily use your Mac to go to Nobrain and get a thoughtful gift ;)

Walt Mossberg is awesome. He should be exposed to Linux in an episode.
