  • anyone knows why they chaned the beep sound and put "please hold the hand rail" announcement ?

  • a minute a train :D

  • chuchu train

  • 3,2,1 ang bilis ng train..chuchu

  • I'm sorry to tell everyone that this video is captured before the merger of MTR and KCR (out of date). Still, as a Hong Konger, MTR's service is as fantastic as before.

  • actually. in 1988 a report said

in rush hour one way trains can hold up to 70thousand ppl

but it actually holded 81 thousand ppl

so in both ways it actually holded in 1988's rush hour is

"""""A HUNDRED AND SIXTY TWO THOUSAND PEOPLE""""

  • its one of the best subways systems i've ever riden on. clean, on time, and cell phone friendly too! makes our subway look like a joke.

  • The beep is a warning that the doors are about to close..

  • I was surprised how fast the next train arrives after another !!

  • whats that beep ?

  • What beep?

  • Actually, I have another video which shows a MTR train departed and another arrived just 25 seconds later.

Subjuct: MTR Kowloon Tong Station in 3'40"

  • hahas yea! hong kong trains come really quickly. im from new york, and our trains NEVER COME. ahhas not on time either. suckss. esp. on weekends, forget about tking the train. it'll probably come every 30 mins. ):

  • What the hell!? A train departed and another arrived 56 seconds later? The frequency of the MTR is simply OMGWTF so fast!?

  • it's great isn't it? But every train is just as crowded...even if it's 1 minute later.

  • i think Singapore Future circle/downtown line frequency would be quite similar to HK

  • I disagree, but to a small extent. The circle line frequency is 5-6 minutes currently. But when all stations are opened, I think they will reduce it to 2-3 minutes.

  • heck ill give up everything just to be a resident in Hong Kong. compare to my lame arse home country (Philippine).

  • i think singapore also has a very good subway system

  • MTR brings us convenience.

  • it's surely convenient but it's so crowded in there..

  • this is good film !!
