  • The part where the cop sees the man in the audience moving across the row of seats and then bashes him over the head with a club had me laughing until my sides hurt.

  • This short most likely outstaged the feature film it was attached with.

  • great cartoon! I love Tex Avery

  • I remember watching this on Turner Classic Movies during Halloween a few years back. I wanna say 2005, but might be before that. It was shown between a gauntlet of Universal Horror classics. For the life of me, I couldn't remember the name of this cartoon. All I could remember was the detective yelling "Who-Dun-It", and the bodies falling outta the closet. Took me almost 6 years on and off (Mostly during Halloween time) to find this. Awesome. Love this cartoon short.

  • Man this is one of my Favorite Tex Avery cartoons shorts.

  • This would be one terrifying universe to live in.

  • The screaming and the evil laughter at the beginning adds a bit of a horror movie type of feeling to this cartoon! 0:42

  • XD

    what?

  • I love the red skelton reference

  • @MichaelBurling13

    "Good Night and God Bless."

  • @ninjawraith17 "Good Night, and MAY God Bless"

  • @MichaelBurling13

    whoops, pardon me. ;)

  • @MichaelBurling13 where does that come from?

  • @sirmugman Red Skelton was an old comedian/character actor/clowns that had his own variety show (essentially, think like Saturday Night Live) and he had one of the longest running tv shows of all time. The joke comes from the fact that his name sounds like the word "skeleton"
