Wow, I live in a 3rd world country, where we have universal health care, where poor people with cancer get treated in the hospital for free if curable then they are sent home, if they have no home, they stay in hospital until get well or die from incurable illness.

The government will be guiding the decisions of the doctors of the elderly at the time and place of care. That is in the bill, what more do you need? Of course the text "death panel" is not in the bill. But is that a death panel? Clearly it is.

Think it through: The goal of healthcare is to postpone death for as long as possible. The government has limited funds.

Good damn point, exbronco -- I agree with Palin as well (never thought I'd write those words): such a system is truly evil. Where I disagree, though, is on a little something called "reality." There is no 'death panel.' Obama in fact does NOT want to kill old people and retarded babies. This is not Orwell's "1984", and no, there isn't a 'race war' coming, no matter how much Palin and her ilk would like one.
