cross over ready position, cross over ready position, cross over ready position, cross over ready position, cross over ready position, cross over ready position, cross over ready position, cross over ready position, ready, position, crossover and crossover, and crosover
all i heard in every sentence which started at 0:37 was back to the ready position ready position ready position ready position and ready position kids if you dont know or cant do the ready position ur fucked in professional tennis well said by that man :p
The guy didn't even do what he preached! Though if he did, that's an injury waiting to happen... At the very least, he's going to trip over his own feet quite a few times...
Yeah it's really bad for your waist. Instead, you should bring your back foot up, do a split step hop, and shuffle back to the center line. NEVER twist your hip like that. One, you can pull a muscle, two: you can trip yourself.
@krabykevin The interesting thing is when he's doing his "cross over ready position" he's not doing that stupid twist like a pretzel thing he does on 0:27. I think if he would've took the time to review his videos, he would've known that some of the things he teaches are inexcusably stupid.
@theriokid my coach tells me to "run like a crab - sideways, with a little jumping and legs spread from each other." damn right ill follow his instructions. i dont wanna smash my family jewels
i like this guys videos and most of the times he is excelent but in this case it is totally wrong and actually he cant execute what he was teaching coz it is not how it should be done.
I'm sure if he sees this video he will find that wasn't a good tip.
the amount of force you are putting in that left legs is terrible and simply not "doable"... you should take that last step and recover with the right leg pushing back to central position...
cross over ready position, cross over ready position, cross over ready position, cross over ready position, cross over ready position, cross over ready position, cross over ready position, cross over ready position,
But, the true mastery behind what Gilad is teaching relys on how well you can connect with the backhand and simultaneously load power on the outside foot; so you're already recovering to the center court and the load on the outside foot gives more power to your backhand swing.
you guys need to understand tennis and learn from a former top 60 player gilad who had wins over some of the best in the world in late 80's early 90s gilad bloom , good video

I don't see how basketball lets you run faster.
But, the true mastery behind what Gilad is teaching relys on how well you can connect with the backhand and simultaneously load power on the outside foot; so you're already recovering to the center court and the load on the outside foot gives more power to your backhand swing.
