It's DOHC... Dual cams on each side of the engine & it's the proper way to specify. You are counting all the cams togethers which totals out to 4 but saying that its quad cam isn't the proper or common way to specify.
I agree. that's strange, I've never heard various chimes from a G8.... apart from those, great start up! However, it's too bad that these captive imports are no longer in production :(
read on autoblog today that they are bringing back a chevy version so the fun does return. I guess it will be a civilian version of the caprice cop car thats about to come out soon..
@KingEastCoast where to begin tire pressure is low you need an oil change once the oil change is done to reset that you have to put key in ignition turn it but not all the way over & pump the gas 3 times in 5 seconds... You also were running low on fuel... Great car treat her with respect...
seriously, I wan't gonna slow down if he was behind to start with. Probably thought I was an dying old man out for a cruise in the 4000lb Yacht but never expected what was coming. To piss him off even more I was destined to take a turn into a plaza 300ft ahead anyways LOL.
Lol some lady was pissin me off at gas station today because the gas was pumping super slow and took 20 min to fill up my tank and she had the same impala I had so to male things worse I revved the fuck out of it and got it to go over to 4500RPM lol then I peeled out crazy haha
Bit of Rush today too but it was the other guys fault. Dude was slightly behind me & his lane was merging. The Ricer in a Scion suddenly decided to rev & cut me off into the shoulder. He then Just about passes me but I floored it, I started closing my car into his until he started eating the oncoming lane. He had no choice but stare at my fat Grand Marquis ass LOL. Line of cars in front had no idea of rage going on behind them LOL. Was a fight I sure as fuck wasnt losing
My Faves R Fords, BMW, & lately honda cause was informed recently about the morse code thing.
But really I never liked much GM chimes. Most GM cars have that Loud BONG, many have the sound coming from the driver door speaker which makes it audible from space.
my favourite chimes include VW/Audi, Volvo, BMW, post-2010 Ford/Lincoln, Mazda, Subaru & Jaguar.
I personally don't like Honda/Acura, Nissan chimes because I find them annoying. However, I have heard that Honda/Acura are using new chimes & I also do not like the loud chimes that are heard in some GM vehicles.
get the fucking oil changed and check that damn tire
