how convenient that he is a teacher in Souther California and the company IONME is based in Irvine, California.....pretty fishy if you ask me....talk about promotion
Holy Crackers! Notice the breaks in the video for the band tests..OBviously an ad for the Ionme band...duh Its true we are making changes in our bodies chemistry but ions? Show me a machine that can measure a persons electric potential haha.It changes all day based on how many ions you drink, eat and the conductivity of the air based on humidity and particulates, How come when I stand right beside a 100 Megawatt generator I am not super man? the magnetic field from that would break that machine
@RugerM10 These are not ions in aqueous solutions being tested...but ions in ambient air. Both liquids and air/gases can be ionized. You haven't heard of lightning as the result of 'ionized air' (plasma)? The idea of these products (not the fake ones) is to increase the number of free electrons close to the skin as much as possible. If it's too far from the skin, the free electrons will get used up before they even reach the skin.
I noticed Ionic Balance has numerous test comparisons on youtube as well...and, according to these tests the other brands test very low, while Ionic Balance tests at 1500 or more. I believe when tests are done on video, all brands tested should be removed fresh from their packaging, and with their shipping date visible, all in front of the camera...because who knows how old/used they are when tested.
Why do people continue to support pseudo-science like negative ion energy enhancers? This is the snake oil of the 21st century. Ah yes, studies at Columbia University show that negative ions have an enhancing effect on the brain! Instantaneous credibility!! That is, of course, until you do some research and find that the research done at Columbia dealt with AIR ionizers and not bullshit wristbands. It's disgraceful that people are capitalizing on lies and quackery like these wristbands.
The amount of IONs (negative or positive) have not been attributed to any significant change in sports activity... In fact, whatever "contribution" they DO make is extremely minimal, if at all. Negative IONs are found in soil... giving the saying "smart as dirt" validity..? You so-called test is bogus. PS: PowerBalance just settled for $50+ million settlement for FRAUD! - I expect every other brand is running for cover. PLEASE stop promoting your false "ION" beliefs. You have a responsibility!!!
A gullible public and their money are soon parted...
Someone needs to develop and ''all-in-one'' negative ion, body tuned/frequency producing bracelet that would also be dipped in the most diluted homeopatic solution possible. Maybe someone in Nigeria familiar with the art of scamming?
@dazzgel I have actually had mine for quite a bit now and when I had it tested again at a camp ion me was present at the ions were still way over 2000
Please do a video where you test Tourmaline and other Electronegative materials like silicate based minerals and copper bands, germanium and so forth.
Hello People, don't you know that using negative ion in rubber bond is good only for a month. specially if you use it daily coz due sweat in our body. it will melt down the ions. ether the ion came from the micro titanium or Germanium if you have ion tester try it again after a month and you can see the difference.
I bet most of you idiots don't even know what a 'ion' is anyway. A little universal catch phrase to make the mindless masses buy your bullshit? Bitch please, a ion is a atom with a differing number of electrons from protons. "OMG my bracelet has 2,200-2,400 ions in it!" Right, let me get you a glass of water with 3M hydroxide and pour it down your nose. Don't worry, it has NEGATIVE IONS!
@RugerM10 So basically you just quoted a middle school text book, added a quaky remark, and now we are suppose to believe that you are a chemist whose scientific opinion has any bearing on the subject.
Where did this guy go to school? The university of quackology?
This is not how you test for ions. You can test for diamagnetic metals which upon introducing a magnetic field in turn induces an opposite field which that little thing could pick up.
But for ions: flame test, dissolve in an aqueous solution and test with an electrode, precipitating tests... these are the legit methods for deriving ion presence/concentrations.
@nyknicks41809 Nyknicks41809 said in another video "TRASHHHHHH LOL! they admitted no science behind their product and are getting sued for millions!!!! real wristband with science behind them is ION ME

@nilslundgren23 as far as I know the ION-ME wristband is the only one supported by an important university in the US, The USC. Does any other wristband has that kind of support????
I made some negative ion generators that I got from the Electronic Goldmine for $10.95 each. I put a cord on them, and housed them in a black pipe, with a black pipe end for the bottom (a hole drilled for the cord). They are great. I was up all night last night and didn't realize that I was not tired. I have a negative ion shirt, too, that I got from Japan.
Yes, this is a sales pitch. What the "actor/salesperson" isn't telling you is that the bracelets actually do anything. He legally can NOT say this because 1) it doesn't work and 2) that would require evidence that he doesn't have.
Funny thing is that not all these placebo jewelry manufacturers claim negative ions.
@kennethataylor - Yeah, thanks for clearing that up for us. Show me the evidence that any of these bracelets have an effect. What I CAN show YOU is how to fool people at the mall with applied kinesiology.
For the record, I recently tested a TrionZ Lite Necklace with a Ion Tester that is commonly used to demo products such as Sharp's Plasmacluster air purifier. The reading that I got from the TrionZ necklace was just over 2000 negative ions, just another brand to add to the list of products that works :)
@kennethataylor That's be great. i payed 30 bucks for one at the mall a couple of weeks ago and have regretted my purchase since. It'd be nice to know if they actually do anything or not.
@kennethataylor Awesome! I actually just started working for Energy Armor and I'd love to see how it compares to the other wristbands on the market. Thanks!
very interesting that you have made this. Perhaps another big brand for you to test is Trion:Z, they have been endorsed by the Health Ministry of Japan. Worth some scrutiny u think? :)
this is a great test, i actually had a power balance for about 20 days before i realized water was getting inside the stickers and about a week later one of the stickers fell. Very poor quality and i know they admitted no science behind their product so i just asked for my refund back and got it. i just recently purchased a ion me bracelet and i was amazed by the box it came in and the quality of the wristband. i will keep you all updated on the acual feeling i get from the bracelet.
