And his inability to catch, shoot, pass, pivot, finish, defend, offend, or play basketball doesn't factor? Chinese center Sung Ming Ming is 7-9 but nobody wants him. Why? Cuz he sucks.
Who knows. What is he, 19? He can block shots like a pro and he runs the floor well. His offense is terrible, I don't see him ever scoring much in the league. If he can learn to play defense respectably and rebound some the sonics could use any big guy. Just tell him to set a screen and look for loose balls on offense if he can block shots consistently. He's probably the next Olumide Oyedeji.

If he pans out, I'll be thrilled. But, there's absolutely nothing to suggest that he will. He has no skill. He's not even good enough to start for his African JV league team. He's awkward, uncoordinated and skinny. He was drafted ONLY because he has great length. But, that does nothing for you if you can't make the roster. Moreover, the Sonics already had Swift and Petro to develop. This pick made no sense. Granted, it was a weak draft. But, they should have then traded out of it.
This dude is another bench warming "BUST". He went pick number 10 in the 2006 Draft to the Sonics and was picked up by my Knicks late last season. He's just keeping a seat warm until they ship him off somewhere else. Manute Bol had more upside than this guy.
He is soooo underrated and i am really happy fer the sonics cause they are my fave team he also has the potential 2 be 1 of the best blockers in the league 1 day
exactly, dudes the next Diop, nothing like milicic, milicic has skills and could one day become an all-star, this coming from a magic fan so if you havent seen the magic play him at the end of the season theres no use u commenting cause youll have no idea what ur talking about
A few of his blocks should've been called for goaltending, and a few of his tip-ins should've been called for interference. Otherwise, he seems like a tantalizing talent to develop.
Like eurokc98 said, I too hope they can draft Saer Sene. The Suns are in need of rebounding. If there are quality PGs still available, they should pass and try to get at pick 27. But 27th pick is more of a crapshoot than the 21st.
If hes goes #16 like as thought, the bulls would have the steal of the draft. It would be foolish not to take this guy in the top 10. Hes had very little expierence but thats a positive since he so good as of now. I think hes much better than Tyrus Thomas and reminds me of Greg Oden/a young KG
he isnt at all like KG. Colleigate competition is better than international competition. This guy is a risk like Tskitishvili or Milicic. If a comparison is going to be made, it should be made to Diop, not Garnett. Hes a block guy who can pick up garbage and finish, not a superstar. Although he could potentially be very good as most international top 20 prospects could be.
obviously, this reel only shows his good plays and not the plays where he left a man open or had silly turnovers, but nonetheless looks good. I wouldnt mind Jazz getting him at 14.
I was hopin the Raptors would get him at #35, but Im sure someone takes a chance on him in the late teen picks, of the first round. He would be a nice 5 for our new offence, maybe BC makes a trade...

Manute Bol (7'7'') had the longest wingspan ever measured in NBA! It was of 8 feet 6 inches!
But he was an ultimate freak of nature!

I'm a Sonics fan and let me tell ya...he sucks. Wasted pick. We could've had Ronnie Brewer, Hilton Armstrong or Thabo Sefolosha.

come on he has incredible athleticism and 9 ft 5 standing reach he has the potential to be a good C in the nba

I hate to hear eybody pronounce "seney" including saer himself. You got to pronounce "sane".
Anyway, I am glad one of our fellow citizen gets some shine in the NBA. I also hope he will see less bench possible because the kid got game.
