hey, the only problem with the new turbo instead of the super charger, is that you can barley upgrade the engine. mini-madness offers a 265 horse kit.(for ex) now, with the turbo, they can only do stuff like ignition, and exhaust. they wont even tell you how much more power you get. the 02-04 rocks. turbo still rocks, BUT..... thats all. if your not interested in upgrading your turbo minis horsepower, then i wouldnt wry about it.

Actually a turbod engine is much easier to upgrade than a supercharged one. It seems that the problem is that you are looking for a "1 kit solves all" application. Usually people are serious about upgrading their MINI will not buy just one kit. For example, Alta makes a fantastic exhaust for the r56 while m7 makes a great intake (which makes the scoop functional fyi) and so on and so forth. In the end it just comes down to personal taste. Either way r56 or r53... they're both MINIs :)

its not a 2005 its a 2006 and the sale price is 25,500 it has after market 17 or 18 inch alloy wheels.the paint is in perfect condition.everything functions very well.the reason for the sale is because he has no time to drive it.and it is located in new jersey.dont mind shipping it :-)

Very nice, I'm going to wait till the beginning of next year till the JCW Tuning kit is released to get mine. Unfortunately unlike the R53 the new JCW kit can only be factory installed. The good news is the bhp is going to be in the region of 225! Gonna get a black one with the Aero kit and all the accessories, can't wait.
