I went at the Hotel de la Plage when I was a kid, in 1977. Does this hotel still exist in 2011 ?

@STLVL I'm affraid the Hotel de la Plage is no longer a hotel and has been turned into apartments. But it has kept the iconic Seahorse on the exterior wall.

I can remember the Beach Cafe - in the early 1970s. Midway between Hotel de la Plage and Fort d'Auvergne.

Also remember the Cafe Sombrero and Princes and Seaforth hotels.
