Heard this the other day. I'm not an Eagles fan and I basically can't stand country music. There are some songs I can't stand by them, and some that I really, really like...this is one of them. Something about it. I love the vocal harmonies, and the modulations. Fantastic song.

Its been years since I have heard this. We use to sneak into Vale Lake resort in California. It was closed and abandoned way back then but there was a break in the fence that few knew about. We would play all day and the adults would be trashed by sun down. Around a camp fire my step dad and his brothers would all play and sing this together. RIP uncle Larry and "O".

That's very interesting; I was only just reading that Glen and Bob were childhood friends in Detroit, and Bob was a little jealous that Glen, who was a little younger than him, "made it" first! @racourdav Chill dude please :) This just reminds me of family holidays I had in the SW of Scotland in the 70's. Our families could not afford to go abroad. I remember dad and uncle Marty playing Eagles and Doobie Brothers songs into the night and drinking beer around the camp fire. My dear uncle Marty passed away in 2000 aged 57 but he was the coolest dude ever and the greatest music fan. He had worked in Denmark, Norway, Vancouver, San Diego. If I can be half the man he was I am doing well :)
