@chielor1 hold down the power button and "slide to power off". then once it turns off, hold down the power button until you see the apple logo, and once it turns back on, it should be good.

after i restarted my springboard i had nothing but newstand, if this happeneds to you, DONT FREAK OUT like me. i restarted my whole device and lost all my data, now i jailbroke my device again and installed appcake, if that happeneds to you REBOOT your device, thats all. :)

@favi1324 I like Appcake (if that's what you mean by iphonecake) better. Installous is good, but it seems like Appcake has more working sources most of the time. It's also easier to use IMO.

I tried installous and iphonecake or whatever, and each time i installed them there wasnt an app box thingy on my menu screens. whats the problem?

@sk8ercorn Make sure you installed AppSync 4.0+ and are on a firmware higher than 4.0. Also, restart your device and see if that changes anything. If that still doesnt work, re-install AppSync and AppCake, as well as any of the apps that you tried install on AppCake.

@veroliz Make sure you're typing in the repo exactly how I typed it. If it still doesn't work, it's likely that the source is just down at the moment, and just try again in a few hours.

@DeathtoZYX Make sure you're installing the right one for your device. (On the iPad, the HD version, and for the iPhone, the regular one). If it still doesn't work, try downloading it from a different link and then install. It should work after this, but if it doesn't it may just be a bit glitched. It's not the most stable application ever.
