  • I LOve elmo and kermit<3

  • "kermit"??? i thought elmo always calls him green frog :)

  • And Elmo made a green frog very frustrated. :P

  • Aww man, since when does Elmo refer to Kermit by name? Whatever happened to "green frog"? =(

  • on 1:30 elmo is raping kermit

  • "Hi HO, Everyone! I'm Kermit!" xD I love elmo! Kermit is the best. He's probably the most realistic character out of ALL of the muppets and sesame street characters :P

  • I love Kermit too. He's my favorite muppet on Sesame Street (it's too bad that he's not on the show anymore). I think the two oldest and mature muppets are Kermit and Prarie Dawn. The thing I know for Prarie Dawn is that, not only is she mature but, I think she sometimes likes to think of her future career. Also, Kermit is very mature when he's teaching all the monsters (Grover, Cookie Monster, Elmo, etc.) the definition of things, especially as a news reporter which he stars mostly.

  • poor kermit :(

  • such a cute little 'monster'!!

    everything makes him happy

    (L)

  • WONDERFUUUUL! lol

  • I think Elmo is suppose to reflect that of a younger brother. wanting to do everything with his big bro to the point where it pisses the older 1 off.

  • cus now Elmo can help curmit do somthing, yay!^^

  • When Elmo got so excited from the fact in which Kermit had to end up delivering his packages tomorrow due to the fact that they were slackin' off, Elmo began his excitement and talked until the fact in which he bumped right into Kermit, the packages fell on the ground and got broken. When Elmo gets very excited like that, he has to watch what he's doing so he won't cause an accident with someone.

  • Elmo is amazing at helping Kermit.

And Kermit is amazing at dealing with it. XD

    <3

  • love it

  • And people wonder why Kermit eventually moved out of the neighborhood. xD

  • Hahaha great comment. I can see what you mean.

  • hahaha laughed out loud at this comment. funny because it's true XD

Elmo did seem to stalk Kermit rather a lot.

  • I know hes the only one with a brain

    I miss him

  • Elmo always has been a little bugger.

  • Kermit does not have to shun Elmo!

  • ELMO is best!!!! i love him... :-)

  • Kermit obviously has stronger nerves than Fat Blue... the latter usually faints when Grover "helps" him the same manner Elmo did to Kermit. :-)

  • Classic Muppet skit! For your own classic custom-built puppet character just click on VaultOfPuppets for our website link.

  • haha I love Elmo ^-^

  • He sounded so cute back then...

  • haha i luuuuv this it is soo funny. i miss elmo he is the best they made the whole show stupid. i mean really the veggie monster??DONT EVEN TRY! ♥Elmo♥

  • i remember this! I wuzn't born until 1994, and this is from the '80's, but i saw it as a rerun.

That wuz so funny @ 1:38. Kermit looked like he wuz gonna kill elmo.

  • Kermit always acts like an adult while everybody else acts like little kids.

  • Why couldn't Kermit have just slipped by at 00:30?

  • sooooooooooo cute!!!

  • When did Kermit move out?

  • How can you not love Elmo....:)

  • It sounds like one of those boxes was very fragile due to the sound of glass breaking.

  • lol poor kermit

  • elmo had an intresting accent back then.

  • Come on, give Elmo a break, he is just a baby boy :)

  • Sometimes you just want to kill Elmo with sharp piece of metal, but it would have been less funnier without him! "You know how you always say: hi-ho, Kermit the frog here" LOL

  • yeah sometimes you gotta keep the annoying for its entertainment like Dory on finding nemo

poor Kermit but you can't hate Elmo he just wants to help

  • rose: Yes, Elmo loves to help, but his "help" comes at a price, normally a normal Muppet's--or human's--sanity, because now, Elmo's become so engrossed in corporate matters that he's become grossly overrated and annoying to the point that Sesame Street will probably have to soon change its name to just "Elmo's World" (and keep removing classic Street characters left and right).

  • Kermit seems to have more tolerance for Elmo than Grover and Cookie...sometimes. I'm guessing it's because Elmo's still young.

  • Actually, I think Kermit is pretty good with Cookie Monster too. It's Grover he really loses patience with.

  • "Hi ho, Kermit the Frog here." I wonder if they got the "hi ho" from Louie Nye's Man on the Street routine on Steve Allen's show of long ago: "Hi ho Steverino....I'm Gordon Hathaway, and I'm a party doll." :)

  • I remember that skit. Elmo should have not spent his time talking to Kermit while he was in a hurry to mail his packages. HeyButtahfly, I agree it does reminds me the song " I Love My Elbows" where he drops the packages.

  • HahA I remember this. Kermit should have been the grouch. I do see why he moved out. He wa spushed out.

  • he wasted kermit's time, wen people are in a hurry its rude to distract them, no means no elmo. lol

  • I don't think Kermit was being very nice to Elmo. The little guy just wanted to help

  • Kermit demonstrated a lot of patience, though. His tone may have sounded rude, that's true, but Elmo kept insisting and look what happened.

  • i love elmo & green frog kermit both

  • He could of just let Elmo carry one package!

  • My thought exactly. I don't quite see why Kermit was being so resistant. You'd think he would want help with his packages. Or if not that, he could have asked Elmo to hold the door for him.

Plus, wasn't Kermit cutting it kind of close waiting until the last few minutes to head for the post office? I doubt if he would have been able to mail his packages even if had made it inside. Yes, it was rude of Elmo to keep pushing Kermit away from the building, but the end result wasn't ALL his fault.

  • Garret: But Elmo--as cute as he is--is both annoying and too persistant in this peice. Kermit DID say that he didn't need Elmo's help, but thanks to Elmo's nagging and begging, Kermit couldn't deliver his packages on time.

  • Your right, the end result was not all his fault at all. Kermit should not of gone to the post office a few minutes before closing time. Just like in that skit with Fat Blue and Grover where fat blue missed his flight to South America.

  • That's right. We see those two clips from the victims' points of view, so we sympathize with them, but then realize that they were partly to blame themselves.

  • Are you kidding? If you let Elmo carry a package, next thing you know he'll spend five minutes thanking you for it; then teaching you what thanking is, then asking Mr.Noodle if they can color it together, then wanting to know what's in it.

Don't touch that can of worms, just kick Elmo in the balls and do your work, that's what I say.

    -AHMAD

  • Look at the bright side: Kermit might have met Grover, and we all know what mess can happen when Grover tries to help someone... :-)

  • This looks similar to the setting of Kermit's "I Love My Elbows"-- even down to the armful of packages!

  • And people wonder why Kermit eventually moved out of the neighborhood. :)
